"Huh, what did you say?" Diamond says returning to the real world.
"Umm, Nothing!" Jonathan said quickly handing her the belongings she dropped. "I should pay more attention to where I'm going. Here's your stuff. Have a nice day!" With that, he runs off to his class.
"What a weird guy, but he's so cute. What am I saying I can't be thinking this way I'm meeting another suitor I at least find suitable. Now time to get to class before I'm late," Diamond says running to the class barely making it in time.
"Have a seat Ms.Taren class has just started." Mr. Cross the technology professor says as he begins class."Today students I have a special treat for you that will determine whether or not you pass my class. You will be in teams of four: a designer, a programmer, a builder, and a driver. Pick your teams wisely because you will drive and fight an expert in robotics and basically everything technological. He's the hardest worker I have ever seen and even with the enormous talent, he has that wouldn't have put him in the position he has now without hard work. I have had the pleasure to guide him the best I could and he turned out better than expected. It would be my pleasure to introduce my very own son Mr. Jonathan Morgan." the class applause indicating they knew who, but Diamond seems to not believe his words one of the greatest minds in tech was his son and how come without the help of this teacher we wouldn't know that.
"Dad, stop trying to make my accomplishments bigger than they are," Jonathan says coming to the front and standing next to Mr.Cross.
"Nonsense my boy," Cross says throwing his arm around his son's shoulder. The class abruptly stopped clapping taken aback by the fact he was Mr. Cross' son."What's wrong class didn't I tell you he's was my son? Even though he's wasting his talents just only using his time on projects and all the knowledge he keeps to himself."
"I don't think they can accept the fact that I'm actually your so-" Jonathan says stopping at the sight of Diamond. He leans over and whispers to Cross, "What's that girl's name in the front row?"
"Oh her? She's Diamond Taren, Daughter of Bank Tycoon Tony Taren, you have heard of him right seeing as to how you have done business with him and all, but don't test your luck I hear from the students she's a demon who finds something wrong with every suitor her dad sets her up with. Plus, they say she's a total bitch. But, it's all untrue she's a sweet and prideful girl that's strong and very independent, she's one of the best students here.She could be the perfect wife. She's someone you can depend on through the darkest times. Don't try your luck. Her dad would never let you date her even if you help him out a lot. He's controlling of her and thinks no one is better for his daughter that the suitors he picks out. She doesn't seem to agree, so try anyway. If you do end up earning her love and trust don't expect her family to be falling in line in acceptance of your relationship. And that's all if you get the chance to even speak to her." Cross says quickly before turning to the class "Now Jonathan will pass out a packet that explains what we are looking for in your robot and how you need to build it. Any questions ask me or him and for additional info on the project address the packet. Pick your partners now, you have 10 mins to do that and assign roles" He says walking around the classroom and handing the papers to Jonathan to pass out. "Time starts now!" with that the class was off to find the right teammates for the job. "Oh, I forgot to say the last person who has no team, since our class is odd, will be paired with Jonathan." With all the teams already being made up, people tried to depart to Jonathan but it was too late Cross already spoke. "Looks Like it will be our very own Ms.Taren is Jonathan's partner. Now with that done Class is Adjourned early go get a head start on my project. The class rushed out the door including the eccentric father, leaving just Jonathan and Diamond.
