I'll be a year older after two more weeks. I'll be eleven. I'd love a dog for a present. Maybe, a labrador? But my dad's been searching for a Chihuahua because he says it's easy to bring anywhere, easy to carry, I could hug it all day, and it is definetely adorable. Besides, that is a type of dog. So, you know, I'll be thankful.

Two more weeks until I turn a year older. I was walking in the sidewalk with my mom to the pet shop to look for a good bred puppy. I was looking around while my mom was being too talkative about the attractive things around the corner. It was too much talking. But I spotted a shop, Seren Herbs shop across the street. I didn't need herbs, ofcourse. But there was a box made out of carton. Something was written. It said Trained. Loved. And Legal.

What would be trained, loved and legal inside that box made out of carton in a herbs shop?  I asked myself.

I slipped my hand out from my mom's hand and ran across the street towards the box. I was too curious. I know I'd be grounded once my mom notices.

"Kelli?! Kelli!" mom yelled. "No! Kelli, what are you doing?! Stay there! Wait for me!"

I didn't care if she'd come. But I just wanted to know what was in that carton box. I placed my hands on the edge of the box and looked closer, closer and closer.
