"Mom, no," I tell her. "She has no right to get him already. Anyways, if we didn't buy Chigo, she would have done animal abuse."
"Well, we bought him. And he's very blessed he has an owner like you," Rodger adds. "So, Dex, are we near?"
"Very near," Dexter tells us. "Okay, all of you cover yourselves, or hide behind the front seats except for Rodger and I. We are policemen. So, if they recognize Kelli and Mrs. Dawn, or even Cassie because you look like Kelli, you know what'll happen. And Lea, you too."
We all agreed. Minutes later, we were right in front of Sonia Wilson's gate. Rodger and Dexter pressed the doorbell. One of the car's door was open so we could hear what was happening.
A man, in a blue polo, that looked like their gaurd, opened the gate.
"Yes? What can I do for you, sir?" he asked.
They showed their badges, proving they were official policemen. At first, the gaurd's face looked shocked.
"Yes," Dexter answered. "Is Ms. Wilson in there?"
"Um," the gaurd hesitated. "She's.. whe's right over there, in the kitchen."
"Alright, may we come in?"
"Y.. yes? Probably."
"Probably?"
"I mean, um. Go ahead."
Before they were entering the house, Rodger closed the caar door. All we did was wait for twenty minutes. It was long, but it didn't matter. We went here for that. Thanks to Rodger and Dex.
I fell asleep. Woke up when I heard a slam in a door of Sonia Wilson's house.
"Are they done?" I whispered to Lea, Mom and Cassandra.
"Don't worry, dear," Lea told me. "I feel like they're leaving the place already. Looks like they're heading here."
"I wonder how this problem's gonna end," Cassie wondered.
"Well, I hope it doesn't end bad," I said, with a sigh.
Right after I said it, they went in our var already.
"You can remove that now," Rodger tells us. We remove the blanket.
"So, anything new?" I ask.
"Yes, we talked to Sonia Wilson. She tells me she has nothing in the house. No panda, or whatever. What's good is we heard Chigo in their backyard and now, she can't hide him from us. We're staying here for good. Waiting for other policemen to arrive."
"Wow, that's great news. We solved this fast, but the other problem is.. we have no idea where dad is."
"It's okay, we'll find him. We just need Sonia Wilson."
"Yep, arrested for good."
"I heard news about her. She did not only get Chigo but she also has not payed someone she owes. And it costs about a million."
"Wow, that's bad."
"Yes it is, Kelli."
"I miss Chigo already."
"Don't worry. We got him. But we'll have to wait."
"True," Cassie includes. "I can't wait to see Chigo too. I'm happy for you, Kelli."
"Thanks," I say.
I hear police cars approaching. They arrest Sonia's gaurds and ofcourse, her too. Rodger leaves us for a while, with Dexter. And comes back, with Chigo.
I run down and hug Chigo.
"I missed you, Chigo," I whisper.
