"Do I have any choice? I wanna help these endangered pandas. And yes, pandas aren't supposed to be kept as a pet. Chigo doesn't have a left leg. His left arm is injured. Once we come, we shouldn't be shooed away. We own him, remember that. The zoo doesn't own him. Your job is just to breed him and take care of him. But he also needs to be happy and to be loved. He's Kelli's bestfriend."
I smiled at dad. Solemn Derekson agreed to dad. He took out a form and made my dad sign it.
"Mr. Dawn, I shall go. Please, don't forget. Next week, he'll have to go."
He left our house. I ran to Chigo and hugged him tight.
"Chigo! Say goodbye to our house. I wish you could live here! I know, you heard everything. But I wish you understood it. But its for your own good. I know. Your species are endangered. If you lived here, I'd see you everyday. But I promise to visit you often. I love you, Chigo. "
I spent the whole week with Chigo. He was always with me. But he had to go today. He had to say goodbye to our house. He was going to live in a zoo already. And we wouldn't be able to see him everyday anymore.
Solemn Derekson came to fetch Chigo. Chigo had to be caged until he gets to the zoo. We rode with him in the same truck because I didn't want to part aways yet.
It was a long trip getting to the zoo. Maybe about an hour and thirty minutes.
I stepped out of the truck.
There wasn't any shed yet. It felt hot while standing directly to the sun. I looked for a shed to make my body warmer. I walked to a shed following where they were going to place Chigo. I noticed they were heading to the zoo. I looked around and I could see all the beautiful animals. I stared at the lion's beautiful blue eyes. Behind it was its adorable cubs. It looked left and I heared its loud roar. There were a couple of giraffes, and more. I had say goodbye first. In front of me was a big field with tents. There was a lonely panda. Female panda. Behind her was another zoo keeper. It looked like she loved the panda so much. I wonder if she sees her every day. I wish I could be like that.
