I still can't believe my dad is really on his way to Mexico. It feels so surreal, I don't even want to go to school I just want to lay in bed all day crying.
"Vamos a estar bien mija te lo prometo."
"Yo se ma."
"Ya me voy a trabajar, ya no llores y vete ala escuela."
"Okay ma."
She kisses me goodbye & heads out the door. I might just stay in school until lunch then walk to Diosa's house since she lives straight up from the Adult Learning Center. I don't feel like dealing with people all day long .
*ring* ring*ring* Its Diosa i called her with my mind
"Hello"
" Dice Rodrigo que vayamos a su casa, When you get out of school."
"What does Rodrigo want us to go to his house for?"
"He said to chill with him & his friends."
"I don't feel like doing shit today, i was planning to go to your house during lunch & just stay there & sleep."
"Why? Whats wrong Mitsy?"
"My dad left today, he's on his way to Mexico."
"Ooh I'm sorry I forgot, are you ok? You want to talk about it?"
"Not really I just want to cry."
"Lets go to Rodrigo's house maybe that'll help keep your mind off things."
"You're right, okay ill go to your house during lunch & we go."
"Okay then."
"Ill call you when im going."
Maybe hanging out with Rodrigo & his friends will change my mood. Lord knows I need cheering up today.
At school I feel like everyone thinks im high because my eyes are so blood shot red from all my crying.
"Mitsy come to my office before lunch."
"Okay."
Wonder why Olga our school counselor wants me to go to her office before lunch.
10 minutes before my Language Arts class is over I ask to go to Olgas office.
"Olga que paso?"
"Tu maestro de álgebra me dijo que párese que estabas llorando que tienes chiquitina?"
"Ooh its that my dad left to Mexico this morning...."
"Oh sweetie im so sorry, how are you & your mom holding up?"
"We'll be fine I guess, I was going to come to your office & tell you that im not coming back after lunch I'ma just stay home I don't feel like being in school today."
"Okay mama thats fine."
"See you Monday Olga."
As I walk out the school I start calling Diosa
*beep*beep*beep*beep*
"Hello."
"Im walking to your house be outside so we can just go straight to Rodrigo's house."
"Okay im sitting on my porch im about to text him to come outside."
"Okay bye."
As I reach Diosa's house I see Rodrigo & one of his friends sitting on his porch.
"Vamos al Porch de Rodrigo."
"Okay vamos."
Im not really thrilled to meet new people. Especially Rodrigo's friends majority of the time Rodrigo & his friends are just trying to get into our pants, but Diosa wants to go & id be a bad friend if i let her hang out with them alone.
"Whats up Mitsy & Diosa?"
"Hey."
"Hi Rodrigo." Diosa saids in a flirty matter
"Oh yeah this is my friend Marcus. Marcus this is Mitsy & Diosa.
"Hey nice to meet you guys, like Rodrigo said im Marcus."
"Hey I'm Mitsy."
"And im Diosa im Rodrigo's neighbor."
"Yo Marcus. Antonio & Sergio are coming through in a bit too."
"Okay."
"You want me & Diosa to leave when they get here?"
I say hoping Rodrigo says yes
"Nah, stay here and chill with us."
