CHAPTER NINETEEN: ROAD TRIPPING

My alarm clock went off at six in the morning, making me roll off my bed and onto my floor.

"Dylan? Are you okay?" Dad walked into my room, finding me on the floor, faced down.

"Yeah." I put my hands on the ground, pushing my arms to be straight so that I could sit up.

"Why are you up so early? Your classes don't start until 10." Dad was definitely concerned. He hasn't been home much lastly, but not as much as Mom hasn't been home from in the past. Shelly knew about me going to Westmound Middle School today. The only bad part about the situation was that it was a three hour drive and we leave at seven thirty. "Is this the reason you went to bed early last night?"

"I'm fine, Dad, really." I smiled at him. "I don't have classes today, they let me off for the day. Work has me going to a middle school with some of the people I work with. It's to help raise money for something, that I can't remember because it's too early." I threw my comforter back onto my Dad. Dorota will get that later.

"Well, I'll to make you some breakfast then. I'm sorry for not being around much, Princess." Dad hugged me the second I was free from doing anything.

"It's okay. You're here more than mom ever was, so I'm not complaining. Shelly is a real help too."

"Okay Princess. Go get ready. I'll get you your coffee and waffles made, so be out by six forty five so that you have enough time to get to eat and get to the radio station in time, yeah?" Dad kissed my forehead before walking out of my room.

"You fell off the bed again, didn't you?" Liam poked his head into my room.

Gave him a snarling look before shutting the door.

I took a super quick shower, just cleaning myself and making sure that I smell good, so I didn't wash my hair. I wrapped myself in a towel, turning on my flat iron, and did my make up. I had on the black smokey eye, with white sparkles, eyeliner on the water line, and mascara. It might be dark, but it's not THAT dark. After, I took out of hair from my very messy bun, combed it out and straightened it.

I put on a gold sparkly long sleeve sweater like shirt, with a black skirt that had on a golden mini belt, tights with sparkles on them that looked like stars, and black louboutins with red on the bottom.

By the time it was six fifty, I was spraying perfume on myself before walking out if my bedroom with my little black purse.

"Good timing." Dad was a little bit disappointed, but I knew he wasn't that disappointed.

"Hey, you gotta give me credit. I have everything I need, so when I'm done I can just go out the door." I took a sip of the coffee that was sitting next to the plate of apple waffles. Dad makes the best fruit waffles in the world.

"Credit given." Dad smiled when Liam walked into the kitchen.

"Why are you up so early?" Liam sat down next to me and Dad started to make him a plate of food.

"The Radio Station is going to Westmound today for a charity thing."

"I know, I know. Too early to think straight. I get it." Liam started to eat at his waffles and when he had a mouth full of food, he said "When will you be back?"

"I dont know, it is a three hour drive."

"Well, the guys and Alice are coming over to have a movie night so when you get back, dont be surprsied that they are here, yeah?"
