CHAPTER FIVE: PARTY

"Have you heard from Dylan lately?" Alice asks, in Liam's room.

"No, she's gone off and done her own thing, and I guess she's happy." Liam says, sadly, but not so much that he would show it.

"She's going to come back sooner or later, you know it, I know it, we all know it." Alice says, sitting next to him with her head on his shoulder.

"Maybe she'll stay with Dad, she's better off with him."

"Since when would you say that? You don't like him, remember? Why don't you just go to your Dads house and get her?" Alice says, standing up.

"Yeah, that's exactly what I will do!" Liam says, with a burst of confidence as he jumped up into the air.

The door opened downstairs, and that's when his confidence fell.

"I thought you locked the door?" Liam says, looking at Alice who was standing behind him.

"I did, even the back door," Alice says, and she wouldn't keep her eyes off of Liam's doorway out into the hallway.

"Liam?" I say, a little quietly so I wouldn't scare him or Dorota. Was Dorota even here?

"Who was that? That didn't sound like Dorota." Alice says, looking at Liam.

"Seriously, when do you not answer me when I say your name?" I ask, standing in the hallway.

"Dylan, you're back!" Alice says, standing up from sitting on Liam's bed. "I knew you would come back," She says, then walked over to me and hugged me.

"I had to come back sometime, Alice," I say, laughing.

"Why did you come back now?" Liam asks, still sitting on his bed.

"Dad, Shelly and I were in Cabo, and they found a house they really enjoyed, so they're moving there, and that's when I decided that I needed to come back home." I say, walking over to Liam. "Forgive me for being gone for so long?"

"Of course," Liam asks, standing up and hugged the living crap out of me.

"Good,"

Alice and I went into my bedroom and talked while I unpacked my stuff.

"So, where is Dorota?" I ask, taking my clothes out of my suitcase.

"Liam dismissed her for a while since he is the only one here for a while, until your mom and Tom come back." Alice says, spinning around in the chair by my desk.

"So what are we going to do tonight? Are the boys coming over?" I ask, now putting all of my clothes into the dirty hamper.

"I don't think we are doing anything and I don't think the boys are coming, why? What do you want to do Dylan?" Alice asks, as she stopped spinning around in my chair.

"I want to have a party since we have the house to ourselves, but knowing Liam and him being here, I don't think that is going to happen." I say, putting my suitcase under my bed. and then I walked into my bathroom to put my bathroom stuff away.

"I can talk to him if you really want to have the party, knowing me, I can get him to do anything," Alice says, standing up.

"Go right ahead, and I will start to call people and invite them over," I say, walking back into my room and Alice was already at the end of the hallway near Liam's room.
