Set Up- Chapter 20

“Meg, what the hell are you doing here?” Ami made her way over to where Meg was standing and starred her deep in the eyes

Meg’s face was sullen and puffy, she’d clearly been crying. She wore a pair of plain black leggings, an oversized grey sweater with rolled up sleeves and a pair of brown leather ankle boots with a slight zip detail to the side

“It’s” she stuttered “It’s Mitch”

Ami grabbed Meg’s arm and forced her outside

“What do you mean?” Ami asked nervously

“He’s back”  Meg shouted as if it should be obvious

“Where is he?”  she asked feeling her stomach go funny

“He’s at the hotel” Meg informed her hands still shaking

“What does he want?” Ami questioned

“You” she replied

*Ami’s POV*

I had to go and sort this out, no matter how much I hate Meg right now I can’t let Mitch hurt her, we came here to get away from him to get away from everything. I was okay when he was just hurting me, but now he’s come here threatening the well being of my friends.

I jumped in a cab as fast as I could, not caring about all of the paparazzi rushing to try and take my picture

“Where to?” the man asked

I gave the driver the address to the hotel and asked him to get there as fast as he could

I took my phone out of my purse and text Luke

‘Hey, sorry I had to leave so quick, I have to go back to the hotel. Take care of Meg x’

I was so scared about seeing Mitch again, I hadn’t seen him since...

I felt a bead of sweat drip down my brow, my hands and legs were shaking nervously and I’d suddenly become cold

The driver noticed my shiver and offered to turn the heating up.

Finally we arrived at the hotel, I hesistated before opening the door and jumping out, I paid the driver and watched as he sped away.

I walked into the hotel lobby, I searched my purse for the key to the hotel room ad dropped the entire contents of it in the processs

I fell to the floor to pick up my items, I felt a tear trickle down my cheek. I thought I’d gotten away from him, I thought everything was going to be okay from now on, a fresh start.

I picked myself up, straighted myself out, wiped my face of sweat and tears and walked towards to elevator where I took a steady ride up to the floor we stayed on

I walked slowly and cautiously down the long corridor until I reached our room, I carefully put the key in the door and swung it open

“Hey babe” Mitch smiled evily “Did you miss me?”

*Meg’s POV*

Yes. The silly bitch fell for it.

Now I have to go and find Luke and ruin their perfect little friendship. I am sick of her, she always gets the guy I want. First there was Jason in Year 4, then Mitch and now Luke, well Mitch clearly prefered my body over hers because the whole time he was with her he was sleeping with me.

I walked back into the venue in search for Luke, I couldn’t see him anywhere

“What are you doing here?” Jai grabbed my arm, his face full with distress and hurt
