Ami’s POV

He hasn’t seen me yet, maybe I can escape?

“Ami isn’t that the guy you were with last night?” Meg whispered

“I have to get out of here” I whispered back, I started to scurry along behind the counter towards the kitchen where I was hoping to hide

“What are you doing down there?” A big bald fat man asked looking utterly confused

I slowly rose from behind the counter, awarding myself strange looks from all the customers including Luke

“Hi I’m Ami” I attempted a smile

“I’m Pablo” the man replied “I’m your boss”

Oh shit

“I’m Meg” Meg stepped in offering her hand for the man to shake

He walked away shaking his head and refusing her offer

“Hi” Beau beamed at Meg before turning his head towards me “Oh hello there” he laughed

“Hi” I mumbled, my cheeks were turning red, my face felt like it was on fire and before I knew it he was just inches away from me on the other side of the counter

“Well I definitely didn’t expect to see you quite this soon” Luke winked “I didn’t quite expect to see you here either” he laughed

With that Pablo walked back into the restaurant looking rather angry

“Am I paying you to chit chatter?” He shouted “Have you even asked their orders?” he practically screamed

Luke leaned over the counter and whispered in my ear, sending shivers down my spine as I once again felt his warm breath on my skin

“I’ll take one large deep pan with pepperoni, olives and pineapple” his voice still sounded low and raspy just how I remembered

“That’s one deep pan pizza with pepperoni, olives and pineapple coming up” I smiled at him gratefully and turned on my feet to go and give the order to the kitchen staff

Pablo forced himself to grin and returned to the kitchen himself

Meg took Beau and Nicole’s order and followed me to the kitchen

“Well this is fucking awkward” Meg laughed

“No kidding, what the fuck do I do?” I threw my head in my hands in utter embarrassment

“If you look embarrassed to him it’s going to make you look worse, play it how he is” she advised

“Meg I am in a pizza shop with my hair scraped back into a tiny red hat with no makeup on, a stupid apron on around greasy food serving it to the gorgeous sex god that I fucked last, how could I even hide my embarrassment?” I was at the point where I could’ve screamed, my anxiety levels were rising and honestly I didn’t know how I could go out there and face him again

“Listen to me you silly bitch” Meg started to shake me “Now that gorgeous boy out there did fuck you last night and oh hell don’t he know it, he was starring at you from the minute he walked in” she started to raise her voice, she looked around remembering she was in a public area or even more to the point her boss was just mere metres away from her “You’re going to go out there with a smile on your face and you’re going to be the girl I know you to be” she lifted my hat a little pulling out loose strands of hair and tucking them neatly behind my ears “Now straighten your apron and go back out there” she ordered
