When Jace woke up it was with a groan. Last night he knew he had been drinking too much but it had seemed like the thing to do. Thankfully the window to the room was darkened and whatever light was on it was low. He groaned again and struggled to sit up. When he did his head was aching and his stomach wasn't happy.

Adie had settled on the couch in the room and it had been comfortable enough for her to sleep. She had almost changed forms but had decided it wasn't a good idea. Mostly it was because depending on how Jace woke he might be bothered with her being nude. If she had changed forms when she changed back she would be nude until she dressed, "Morning Jace, don't know if you remember but I am Adie. My pack was asked to keep an eye on you." Asking what she could do for him wasn't a good idea for the moment.

Jace froze and then dropped his head into his hands and covered his ears, "Keeping your voice quiet would be a start and no I don't remember. Did we do anything? God, I feel like shit and my mouth feels like it is stuffed with cotton." He noticed a glass of water and a pill next to the bed on a stand. If it wasn't a detox he hoped it was something which would do him in. He picked up the pill and tossed it back before drinking the water.

When both hit his stomach, he shuddered and struggled not to vomit. As he sat there slowly the headache and nausea faded, "Well shit, the pill didn't knock me off, that sucks." He took a slow breath before staggering upright. He staggered into the bathroom to suck down more water before considering a shower.

She managed not to say anything else as he took the pill and drank the water she had left for him. It would take about a half hour for it to fully kick in. The pill would take care of the worst symptoms in a short time before working on the rest. He might still feel like crap but he would be feeling better. When the shower started, she had to smile. After stripping down, she walked in, "I need a shower as well if you don't mind. Nothing else other than a shower."

Jace had started the shower and stepped into it. When the woman in the room joined him he settled for a non-committal grunt, "Whatever." He started working some shampoo into his hair and did his best to ignore her. He hadn't even bothered to look at her. Right now, he was so upset it wasn't funny. He was also frustrated since he did care for Nacy. For her to have found her mate was good for her and he was honestly pleased. The loss of the relationship hurt so damn much as well. He honestly cared for her and would almost say he loved her. He didn't know what to do.

Adie rested her hands on his shoulders, "Jace, I can smell that you are upset and angry. Let me help you. I am someone you can talk to and unload on. As I said last night I was asked by my Luna to help you. I will be here with you unless my Luna orders otherwise." She started working on his back with some soap and a washcloth. He was good looking and in very good shape. He was on the spare side but the Academy had done wonders for his build.

"I am angry. I am ticked off as well. I understand the whole soulmate crap. It is just... Someone fucking damn it!" He wasn't sure who to swear by, "I cared for her and she matters. I want to be happy for her but right now that isn't going to happen." He decided to ignore her working on his back and finished cleaning off. When he stepped out of the shower he ignored her presence as well. Later he would give her Luna a call and ask her to tell Adie to go away. It would be rude but he wasn't in the mood for the attention. It just wasn't what he wanted or needed for the moment. Frankly a few days of a major bender would be nice.

Once he was dressed he quickly left the room though he was sure she would be able to follow him. He didn't want her to but she wouldn't have a choice. After hopping into an elevator, he left the hotel and grabbed the first taxi he found, "I need some food and don't care where, maybe a Denny's or Pancake house." His voice was sullen but again he didn't care.
