Chapter 13 - Nacy you are an evil pilot

When Sunday that first week rolled around Nacy and Jace were amused when the four were called into the Sargent's office, "I know the two of you presumably know this but you have two hours at the local hotel. You can pay for more time if you wish but you have to be back by dinner time. Go, relax, and if you wish to go to the park and change check with the Captain's." Once he finished speaking the four of them nodded.

"Understood Sargent, we will make sure we are back on time." The four of them left his office and ignored the looks of the Cadets in the room, "So looking forward to the park. I can't wait to shift and relax on the rock Mila and Holcum used to use." Nacy stretched before addressing the room, "There is a park which is a nice place to relax in. Check the station map and you will find the location. We are going to be there eventually and relax."

Jace couldn't wait until they made it to the hotel room. It wasn't just because he missed making love to Danal, it was missing the intimacy and privacy as well. Even with the curtain they didn't have much privacy and he was greatly missing it, *Can't wait to get to the room and spend time with you love.* To bad they couldn't hold hands while they walked. They dealt with that by changing to their mid-form. Nobody could tell them not to let their tails touch the other.

Danal leaned against him before they left the barracks, *Want time alone with mate. Love, cuddle, relax.* She hadn't appreciated the lack of privacy either and was glad they would have time alone. As she had said she wanted and needed to relax and cuddle with him, "See green place as well." Her language skills had been getting better but sometimes it just didn't matter to her. If she made her point and was understood, then she wasn't going to worry about it too much.

They left the barracks together and strolled to the hotel section. Both set of mates had decided to pay for an extra hour of time so they had more time alone. Thankfully the rooms they ended up in were several doors apart. Nacy and Jace had spent a great deal of time in the rooms and being next door to each other would have felt awkward. Nothing had been said about it but both seemed to instinctively feel it.

Eventually they reached the park and everyone shifted. Now that Nacy and Jace were officers the restrictions on changing didn't apply any more. For the same reason, they could decide if their mates could change or not as well. Kyrill looked around, "Wow, this is nicer than it was described. Beautiful." He stopped at the entrance and looked up and almost fell into the beauty of the stars in the black sky.

Nacy leaned against her mate and looked up as well, "I know. When Mila and Holcum told me about this place I didn't believe them about how nice it was. When Jace and I came here the first time I must have stood here for what felt like an hour. I probably would have if they hadn't changed and started playing." She had to smile at the memory, "The first time I watched them play horrified me. It didn't look like play to me. The baps of their paws looked horribly painful as did the bites."

"It doesn't help that they are Liger's either, they are larger than most Were's much like you and me. They have to be more careful when playing with the smaller were-cat's. Then again you need to finish learning your own strength." There had been a few times she had nailed him hard enough to hurt him. It was part of the learning process but he didn't need a shoulder dislocated.

She sighed, "I know Kyrill and I am doing my best. Every time I hurt you by accident my cat and I feel really bad. It is definitely teaching me to be careful. Now let's go and shift. I will try hard not to accidently sit on Jace." When he changed to his animal form he wasn't much larger than he was in his normal form.
