Then a lot of the flashbacks are not from the anime or the manga. I make them up, based on what will help the story and what their personalities are.
Also it might be confusing at some parts but everything will be explained eventually.

Ran's POV
I felt that something has been off for a while now. I don't know what it is but it keeps bugging me. "Ran" I keep on trying to convince myself it's nothing but it won't go away.
"RAN" that booming call knocked me out of my thoughts, and my chair.
"What Sonoko?"
" I have been trying to get your attention for 5 minutes, with no response I might add"
"Sorry, I was lost in thought".
"Again? Ran is this because you feel somethings off? I told you a million times it is in your head".
"And I have tried a million times to get it out of my head, but it never leaves".
--flashback--
"I know what you need, a soccer game to clear your head"

"What did you say Sonoko?" I was hoping she was the one who said it but I already knew that she wasn't. The person who said it was a guy and he seemed... familiar?
"Did you black out again already?" I just nodded and she continued, "*sigh* well I said you must be stressed out (my names blurryface and I care what you think) from school. So I was thinking that we should go to the mall to clear your head".
"Well I was thinking instead of the mall, we went to a soccer game".
"Soccer? Since when have you like soccer?"
"I don't know, I just feel like watching a game".
"Well your in luck, our soccer team has a home game going right now".
"That is lucky!""and maybe whoever I saw will be there too"
"Well hurry up Ran we are going to be late"
"Coming".
--time skip--
We had gotten our tickets and sat down but watching the game made my feeling get stronger instead of weaker. It was like I was looking for someone who wasn't there.
--flashback--
A boy is kicking the ball past all those who try to get it, he is the center of attention. He looks like he is going to score but instead passes it to his teammate, who misses. But suddenly where it bounced off he is there and he scores. The crowd cheers, they had won thanks to him. Whoever he was?

A loud beep sounded, declaring the game over. I tried to find the mystery guy who scored, but he wasn't even on the field.
"Hey Sonoko, where is the guy that shot the goal that almost went out" trying my best to be specific.
"What do you mean? Our team didn't score a single goal?" "If they didn't score, what was I watching?"
"Are you sure you're okay Ran, you seem out of it?"
"Yeah I am most likely just tired"
"Okay, but I am going to give you a ride home just in case".
"Okay" I responded as I picked up our bags and headed toward her limo.
???????'s POV
This is all my fault, if only I could not have been curious or have been so stubborn, then maybe she wouldn't be in this situation now.
Ran's POV
We were almost to my house when I saw two houses that I recognized. "Let's see, I know one belongs to an author who barely lives in it. Then the other, I think belongs to some inventor?"
--flashback--
"Do you remember Agasa?"
"He is an inventor right?"
"Yeah but he is a crazy inventor who's half of his inventions blow up on his face. But the other half are brilliant." He then showed a slight smile which just seem to captivate me. I couldn't help but stare.
"What are you staring at, Ran?"
"Oh I was just wondering what does he invent?"
"Okay whatever you say" but I knew he knew that I was lying. "Well his latest invention is a voice modulator and I hear he want to put it in a b-

"RAN"
"WHAT!"
"We're here"
"Oh! Well I guess I will see you tomorrow then"
"Okay, but make sure you rest up"
"I will, thanks Sonoko" I left her limo and started to climbed the stairs to my apartment. I opened our door and without thinking asked
"Hey dad is Conan home yet?"
"Uhh sweetie, who's Conan?"
"I don't know". "But why does it sound so familiar?"
