  Yukiko Kudo POV

"he stopped breathing".

Those 3 words brought my smiling face into one etched with worry. And no matter how great of an actress I was, I could not cover it up. After all, this is real life, and he is my son.

I ran over to where Ai-chan was and took my son from her arms. I then proceeded to take him over to the ropes and tied one around his waist. I grabbed a hold of the rope next to me and watched as my wonderful husband pressed the button to pull us up. Once on the helicopter, my husband grabbed our son and brought him over to the back of the helicopter where we have a med station. Now that I think about it, Shinichi was the one that asked us to put it there. "He must have knew this would occur. Though I am not sure whether to be proud or sad of that fact."

Shiho POV
As soon as Mrs. Kudo took Shinichi from my arms, I began unlocking the cages by melting the locks with an acid(don't ask). After I had all the locks freed I grabbed onto a rope in order to be pulled up into the helicopter.  Next, I closed the door and then looked over at my savior. The heart beat monitor still flat lining, and the machine powering up. 10 volts, didn't work. 30 volts, nothing. I was getting extremely nervous, I mean, he could die! Then when they tried 50 volts more, it worked! He coughed up a bit and then went back down. The heart monitor starting to beep again, and everyone's sports rose again. Mr. Kudo went to the pilots chair and began driving us away. As we rode up, I looked one more time at the building, my past. "I am finally free sister."

Ran's POV

Once I saw his heart start beating again, I felt mine as well. "That was close Shinichi. But i swear, if you don't stop, you are going to kill both of us one day."

3rd POV

The helicopter was deathly quiet, no one utter a single word, a single sound.  But the same thing couldn't be said for their heads. Everyone's was swarmed with questions on what was going on?, where they were going?, however, no one felt comfortable speaking at that moment. After all, they witnessed their friend/family member almost die! That tends to shut up people fairly quickly. So there they sat with idle mouths and active minds.

-time skip-

30 minutes has passed and still no one said anything. Then the silence was broken by Yukiko who announced, "We are going to be start making the decent so make sure you seat belts are buckled. And I hoped you have enjoyed your flight with AirKudo." She said it so happily, but everyone could see that it did not have as much enthusiasm as she usually talks with. Despite their observations, they didn't mention it and began to follow instructions. As the last buckle was kicked in, everyone felt the decent begin. Before long they felt the helicopter land on the ground and the blades powering down. The passengers began to unbuckle their seat belts and open up the doors of the helicopter. The last one to exist was the wounded boy on a gurney pushed by his parents. Once they got off they began to walk off into what they assumed was the right direction. As they began their descent they realized that they were in some type of cave. They kept following the Kudos, despite the fact that they had no idea where they were going and it kept getting darker and darker. And just when they thought they were never going to get there, they came into a lightened room. They saw a bathroom, cots, food, medical supplies, and there was even a clean water stream running into the room. They were all amazed, I mean it wasn't very advanced, but it was still more than they expect in a cave.

The Kudos began setting up their son to the heart monitor over in the corner of the room. They also injected an IV tube into his arm. Once they were down they faced the "crowd" and began explaining what was happening.

"Welcome to our hideout, we created it when this whole mess started," making gestures with her hands. "It was actually Shinichi's idea in case of worse case scenario, which, as we just observed, happened. And don't worry, we supplied this place ourselves and no one knows that this cave other then us. So we will be safe here for the time building, though I wouldn't get comfortable. They are very smart and persistent so I am not sure how long it will actually be safe".

"Okay, but who is they?" questioned Megure.

"Murders, an organization that kills who ever is in their way. And they are never caught, never".

Everyone turned shocked at the person who answered it, after all, it came from the boy brought back from life.

"What? Is there something on my face." Showing a small smile after he made his little joke.

And for the first time since this whole ordeal started, everyone laughed. The dark, tense mood from before was quickly transformed into one of laughter and joy. Despite not knowing where the enemy was located, a huge sense of hopelessness on the situation, and, for some, not even knowing who the enemy was, they were happy. Happy that, for now, everyone was safe and sound.

"Anyway, I assume you all have questions about what happened, and luckily we have plenty of time to talk about them. For a while anyway, so who's first?"

A storm of words was heard as everyone began asking questions at the same time.

"Okay okay, how about we just start off with-" Shinichi tried to interrupt them but they were so focused on their questions, no one noticed. They just kept sprouting out incomprehensible question after incomprehensible question.

"EVERYONE SHUT UP" and everyone did. No one even thought that the detective geek could even yell that loud. After all, he rarely raised his voice, at least from what they have seen.

"Thank you, now as I was trying to say was that how about I just give you the summery of what happened. Then, if at that point, you still have questions, I will answer them, one at a time. Okay?"

Yeahs and nods of agreement were produced by the still shocked cluster of people staring at the boy.

"Alright then, I guess the start of the story should start when Ran and me were at Tropical Land. We had just got on the Mystery Coaster and were ready to take off...."
