"No! This can't be!? I mean how is it even possible? I was obviously way taller then Conan in that memory, but Shinichi is taller than me. So how could Shinichi shrink instead of growing? Aw man! I am so confused!
A different ??? POV
"Why do we have to wait bro?"
"Because He wants everyone awake when He revels the mastermind behind behind everything."
"Okay, if you say so....."
Ran's POV
After freaking out whether to believe it or not, I just decided to look at the facts and then accept what they tell me. Since, in the words of Shinichi's favorite hero," once you have taken out the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth".(A/N I love this quote!!!! Now back to the story.....) So I get out a piece of paper from my desk and start comparing what I can remember about them. But the crazy thing is as I was writing, I kept on remembering new information. I remember when Shinichi disappeared, and when I went to his house to look for him, I instead...found...Conan. "I guess that is one point for them being the same person." Then there was that time when I thought  Shinichi saved me from drowning, but I later found out...it..was...Conan. "I guess that can also be considered a point for same." I kept on comparing Conan and Shinichi and the points kept racking for same. There was the fact that as a kid they looked exactly the same, they look the same when they are sad, and they are both Holmes freaks!(I am one too!!) As my memory is coming back I remember when I went skating with Conan-kun. I told him how Shinichi made fun of the fact that I can't skate the last time we were here. And then for a second I saw a look of apology on his face, like it was his fault. Then he slipped on the ice and I ran to pick him up. I began helping him skate and I remember how happy I felt assisting him with skating. But as we were skating a gun shot was heard! I turned to ask Conan what he thought that was only to see him skate away, like a pro. At that time I just thought he wanted to make me feel better about Shinichi, but what if he felt bad about making feel like that! That would explain the look he had after I told him!
I was about to make it official that they were the same person when another event came to my mind that was a huge point for the different column.
--flashback--
It was the night of our school play and when we were in the middle of it, a murder happened! "Of course a murder happened! Why would I even expect something to go right!*sigh" As the police investigating I wasn't really paying attention, since I know in the end Conan- er Shinichi, would just give them the answer with his little clues. But then something unexpected happened, a boy that resembles Shinichi pops up. Though it turned to be just Heiji dressed up as Kudo as a joke, however I feel it was something a bit more complicated then that."Oh well, it is probably just a joke." And so I went back to pretending to know what they are talking about. Then while watching Heiji work I saw him ask Conan."He must know that Conan is Shinichi! And that is also why he tried to disguise himself as Shinichi! But wait, why is Conan ignoring him then? I mean wouldn't it be the perfect cover to tell him the answer while watching, pretending to be a normal kid? And it also seems that Heiji is also confused, so what on Earth is Sinichi planning?" I began to think of what he was trying to do, but as usual, I have no idea what he is thinking. I gave up trying to think just in time to see the doctor go somewhere. I was about to follow him when I saw Officer Takagi comeback."I wonder if they found the evidence that it was a suicide. Well it seems I am about to find out."
"Inspector! We found some hydrogen potassium like medicine near the dashboard. Looks like it was suicide."
"The others also reported to me that no chemicals were found in their drinks, so Mr. Putian might have drank the poison himself."
"Then..."
"Yes, from the situation...we can conclude that it was suicide.""I guess Shinichi will have nothing to solve after all."
"No, it wasn't suicide.""Huh? Doctor what are you talking about? And why does your voice sound different....?"
"What?"
"It was a very simple, elementary....murder.....""Huh? This voice, that opening, it couldn't be, right?"
"Yes, Mr. Putian was poisoned in font of this ebony stage. And the murderer is still carrying the evidence. If my daring action is indeed the truth......" "NO WAY ITS SHINICHI?!?!?!?"
"Ku..Ku...Kudo?!" "It can't be...." To check to see if Conan is still there I turn my head. And lo and behold, there he is, in the same room as himself?"Why? Why are there two of them?! Was I perhaps wrong?"

Yeah, you were and so was I. And that certainly throws my theory out of the door." Man! I thought I had it too! Oh well, I better get to sleep though, since I have school tomorrow"
So I got changed got into bed and turned out my lights, welcoming a restless sleep.
The next day
I couldn't get it out of my head! How did Shinichi manage to be in two places at once?" Now I know ho Shinichi feels while working on a hard case*sigh. If only I could find you and ask. Man! How does Shinichi solve mysteries?! I mean it is not like he can just ask them for the truth and he gets it. No, he bids his time carefully looking at every option, every clue and when the smallest thing goes wrong, he then knows his culprit.
--flashback--
"Shinichi you have done it again! But how do you solve the cases without anyone's help?"
"That is simple, I don't".
"What do you mean you don't?! I just saw you do it!"
"No all you saw was me solving a case but I didn't do it alone. If it wasn't for you talking about that book with Sonoko, then I would have never been able to solve it. Because Ran, sometimes, even great detectives, need a hint now and again".
After that day I never stopped saying whatever came to mind, no matter how relevant it may seem to me. Because to a great detective, it could be a key to help them solve the case.

"While that is true for Shinichi, I don't think that it would work for me. Since I am not a great detective." And so realizing that class is starting, I take out my textbook to turn to page 69 and start reading chapter 13.

Sorry for not updating in a while. I had a bunch of school work and I couldn't find the time to put in the flashback( since I type it up by looking at the manga). And I can only do that in my computer so... I hoped that you have enjoyed so please comment and vote.
