Elena
"I had a, great time tonight." I pushed my hair out of my face. Stefan stepped closer towards me.

"Me too." He smiled and looked away.

"By the way your taste in frozen yogurt is about as good as that guy sitting in front of us." I laughed, picturing the guy with a blotchy hair cut.

"Hey, he had potential!" Stefan argued.

"Potential in what?" I asked.

"I don't know, something that doesn't involve having a decent haircut." He said.

"You're ridiculous, you know that right?" I commented as we got closer to the dark blue jeep that was owned by Stefan.

"Yes at least I don't carry around a bag that cost more than my car." He pointed to my highly expensive designer bag.

"Leave Tiffany out of this!" I protectedly held my bag in my arms.

"You name your purses?" He asked.

"Obviously." I said nonchalantly.

We stood for a minute just staring at each other.

Without a second thought I interrupted his train of thought with smashing my lips against his. Surprisingly he pushed me off.

"I'm sorry." I apologized.

"It's okay, I just think you may have gotten the wrong idea. I only want to be friends." His eyes wouldn't meet with mine, almost like there was a magical spell put on him so he had to avoid eye contact.

"Is there something wrong with me or something?" The wind picked up making me shiver.

"No, you're just not my type." He placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Fine, friend. I can be friends." I told him

"Good, so I'll drive you home then?" Stefan pivoted on his heels more towards his vehicle.

"Yes." I firmly spoke. "And maybe to school every day."

"You got driving you to school everyday, out of I'll drive you home?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

"No, but that was embarrassing. So you owe me." I crossed my arms.

"Last time I checked, you owe me. Remember how I picked you up on the side of the road?" He had a ha ha smile on his face as he entered the car.

I joined him by going in the passenger seat. "Call it even? Though, you're still driving me to school everyday."

"Fine. Uh why did you have no gas anyway, I mean you're Elena Gilbert a.k.a rich goddess." Stefan pointed out.

"Everyone thinks that about me? I'm surprised you didn't say scary rich, I'm sure people are scared of me." I sighed.

"Why are you dodging my question?" He turned his body to face me.

"It seems like everyone knows my life, you'll probably find out in a tabloid. My parents are Miranda and Grayson Gilbert." My voice filled with hostility.
