A/N: okay I meant to mention this last chapter but since I had taken a bit of a break I had forgotten a few things that had went on in the first few chapters so excuse little tiny things.
Elena
"It all started in 2014, when my parents split up. You know my parents well enough to know they're both great people, but it wasn't always that way. My mom had an affair with Stefan's dad. I knew going straight for his dad Wouldn't work so I went after Stefan, his fathers pride means everything to him so by making Stefan the school joke it will also reflect on his parenting skills." Bonnie explained."Bonnie, that's why you want me to ruin Stefan? I can't believe this." I have to forget everything she's told me or I won't go through with this.
The money Elena, you need it.
My mind was overwhelming with thoughts.
--
Have you ever just sat down with no motivation to do anything? But later you regret doing nothing even though In that moment that's all you wanted to do?That's me, right now. I know if I go on my firs date with Stefan in sweats and my hair up in a bun nothing will go well. My appearance will effect my mood, and as always I'll ruin the night.
I look over to see the only things I haven't packed up, big furniture and some clothes and makeup scattered around my apartment.
I really do owe it to Caroline and Bonnie, if it wasn't for them there would only be one box packed and taped up. Even after the ways I've treated them and talked about them they still are there for me.
I guess truthfully I owe It to Stefan, he changed me for the better. During the last month I've changed drastically, not only am I being a nicer positive person but I've felt good too.
Eh it's either him or the new chips I've been trying, those have changed me, never again do I want to eat another piece of junk food that is not potato chips.
No it's definitely Stefan. He's so sweet and pure, it makes me sad that he will hate me after all of this. I'll miss him, a lot.
Wow Elena, you've just wasted 5 minutes of your time thinking about random things. Now get up and do something with your life.
I stood up and pondered around for a good 30 seconds before I took a seat at my vanity. I made a ombré effect on my eyes with a gold-ish beige-ish colour as the base and a darker brown on my outer crease, and added some fake lashes. Lastly I put mascara on and some pale pink lip stick.
I wore a casual bubblegum pink dress that went down mid thigh, with a jean jacket and black boots.
I was zippering up my boots when I heard a knock at the door, I rushed over and flipped my hair out of my face, when I discovered it was Caroline at the door.
"Oh, it's um you." I realized what I said when her expression changed to hurt. "Not that I'm upset to see you it's just I was expecting somebody else. You're not worse than that person, I'm equally as excited to see you too it just caught me by surprise—" I was cut off by Caroline.
"Elena! It's okay I understand. Are you okay though?"
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I looked behind her to see if anybody was behind her.
"You just seem nervous, and you apologized to me."
"Can I not apologize? Wait did that come off mean to you? I'm sorry I wasn't trying to be rude." I'm shaking, I can barely comprehend what I'm saying I'm actually kind of nervous. All I can think about is my date with Stefan.
"You're doing it again."
"Right sorry."
We stood there in silence for a moment until she spoke, "I just forgot my phone and I was going to get it."
"Oh yeah it's right over there by the couch."
I turned back around and there stood Stefan. "Hello." His deep masculine voice sounded different, tonight.
"Stefan?" Caroline said from behind me. "What are you doing here."
"Stefan and I have a date tonight." I smiled at her.
"Oh that must be why you're so nervous and antsy." Why did she have to say that? As she finished saying it her hand covered her mouth.
I heard a chuckle escape from Stefan mouth.
"Well we should get going, and so should you Caroline." I tipped my head motioning for Caroline to leave.
Once she was out the door Stefan looked at me, "nervous huh?"
"Shut up." I laughed, and we walked out the door.
--
"This food is fantastic." I'm eating a lobster with, salad (Caesar), corn, and baked potato. Odd combo you may think but I really do love those foods."I'm glad you're enjoying it." He wiped off of his mouth with a napkin and our eyes met.
"So uh, is that extra room ready for me?" I asked.
"Pretty much, is everything packed and ready? Have you scheduled a moving date?"
"Whenever you're ready for me, I just need to know so I can call a u-haul and get everything else on it." He nodded.
"Well I'm ready."
"Can I ask you a question?" I asked.
"Shoot."
"That night when I tried to.. kiss you, why did you continue seeing me on a daily basis when not reciprocating those feelings?"
"Elena, we had barely known each other. That's why I didn't feel the same, but I didn't know enough about you to just walk away."
"And now?" I said.
"Well as I said on the phone earlier, you've changed, for the better and yeah I asked you on a date tonight but I still don't know."
"Can I try something?" I asked.
"What is it?"
"Kiss me." I couldn't believe the words that came out of my mouth.
