A/N: SO SORRY FOR THE LONG WAIT!! I was drawing a complete blank after I glanced back at some of my old chapters and realized the organization was worse than I'd initially thought. I tried rewriting it on my phone but that ended in failure :P Hopefully you guys like this chapter anyway...

. . .

Kozato Enma had always been in love with Sawada Hinata.

She was kind, pretty, and smart. The epitome of perfection in his eyes, even if it seemed a bit forced and Adelheid warned him to stay away.

He paid a visit to Namimori, no so surprised to find himself making his way to the Sawada residence specifically. It seemed kind of empty when he looked at it. Like something seemed different. He shook it off as the house being old. He entered the house through the window, deciding that it would be fun to surprise Hinata.

Only to find her in tears.

"Enma..."

The redhead leisurely walked over to hug the blonde girl comfortingly. He frowned, feeling the girl flinch. Ever lovable Hinata. His compass eyes darkened.

"What happened to you?" Enma asked, letting go of the Sawada. She didn't respond, instead choosing to stare at the ground. It wasn't difficult to tell that Enma was now furious. Obviously, something--someone had hurt his future bride.

"It was Tsunayoshi."

. . .

Ha! Enma was truly a fool.

Hinata hid a smug grin with her long hair. It was so simple! If she could get Enma to get rid of the problem, then it was possible for her to get back on track.

The rising temperature in the room jolted her out of her thoughts.

Something...gravity...?! she thought in shock, struggling to stay in her position. She peeked up at Enma's form through her fingers. He was surrounded by burnt red flames. What...is this?! I've never heard anything about Flames like these!!

"Who's Tsunayoshi?" Enma's voice remained steely calm. The blonde blinked. The pressuring feeling subsided for a moment.

"She's my..." Hinata paused for a dramatic effect, collecting more tears. "She's my dearest sister. I've never told you about her because, well...she's dangerous. She hates other people, so much so that she killed someone when we were six. I thought..."

By now, Hinata looked like a trembling mess. Enma placed a hand on her shoulder reassuringly. She could feel the waves of hate rolling from the redhead's form. A sneaky blush crawled across Hinata's face. The look on his face sent chills down her spine. Was Enma always this hot? The once soft, gentle gaze in his eyes hardened with a seriousness she didn't know he possessed. She loved it.

"I need to take care of something. Please excuse me," Enma said, forcing his Flames to dissipate. He left through the door without another word. Hinata released the breath she hadn't realized she held.

"Wow~" she purred. "How interesting~"

"More like boring. That wasn't convincing at all. If you want to lie, come up with a better story, Baka-Hinata." Reborn yawned to prove his point. "This is ridiculous; it's hard to believe anyone would ever fall for something like that."

"Reborn," she yelped, startled. "How was Italy? I hope my dad talked some sense into you. Clearly, I'm not the bad guy here."

"He did. I just didn't listen to him." He sighed lazily. "Damn idiot followed me everywhere I went talking about you. So what happened to Tsunayoshi?"

"Can't you just focus solely on me?" Hinata brought a hand up to cup his cheek seductively. "After all, you are my tutor."

"I think you're misunderstanding something. I am focused on you, but, as you said yourself, I'm your tutor. It's my job to teach you to become a great mafia boss, and to do that, you need to start listening, Baka-Hinata," Reborn growled, pushing Hinata's hands away from himself. "If you can't even care for your sister, then you have no hope in even reaching your famiglia."

"She was always getting in the way!" she protested angrily. "Every. Single. Time. She was always the one who got in the way. I was supposed to be the hero. Me. Yamamoto Takeshi was supposed to be my Rain Guardian, but no. Tsuna just had to get in the way, again."

"Don't push your mistakes one someone else. It's disgusting," her tutor said, smacking her over the head with Leon in the form of a hammer. "Plus, it was your own fault that Gokudera Hayato left. What a shame. I'm sure you'd be glad to know that I was the one who recommended him as your Storm Guardian."

"...I can still get him back." She said this firmly, though her blue orbs glittered with uncertainty.

Reborn snorted, laying on Hinata's bed. He covered his face with his fedora.

"Good luck with that, brat."

. . .

"Decimo."

"HIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEE!!!" Tsuna frantically checked her heartbeat. "Giotto! You sca--startled me!"

Giotto raised a brow. "No 'welcome back'? I'm hurt!"

"Ah! Welcome back, Primo. How was business in Italy?" asked Tsuna.

"Honestly? Not that great. Iemitsu was very annoying, to say the least," the blonde sighed. His Hyper Intuition flared. A tonfa was embedded alarmingly close to where Giotto's ghostly head had been. He could see tiny wisps of Cloud Flames surrounding the weapon. "Who's this?"

"Oh? A carnivore," Kyoya drawled, a lazy smirk stretched upon his lips. "How interesting. I'll bite you to death." A small calloused hand stopped him from striking at the glaring blonde.

"Stop." Orange orbs glinted dangerously up into steel orbs. The brunette cleared her throat after Kyoya finally calmed down."That is Giotto, the idiot first boss of Vongola."

"You know, for someone who knows what it's like to be insulted, you sure are mean," Giotto chuckled fondly, making Tsuna stare at her feet with a quiet 'sorry'. "Is this the boy you and Alaude are always talking about?"

"His name is Hibari Kyoya, the jerk who basically only thinks about fighting," Tsuna sighed. "Unfortunately, he's also the one who might be a possible Cloud Guardian for me." She covered her face with her palms. "Why does God hate me so?"

"Hn," Kyoya grunted, a mocking smirk shown on his face.

Hell hath no fury like a Tsuna scorned.

The raven head barely escaped alive.

I'm not gonna add the updates to the pairing poll anymore since I'm a lazy butt. I'm just gonna say that so far the winner is Reborn, and Hibari is the runner up. Keep voting, I guess...(?)

Still trying to straighten out the story without rewriting, but at least this time I made some progress. Not really.

Very light editing, so there might be more mistakes this time. And less variety in vocabulary. I tried. Sorry about that.

Hopefully, the next update will be published sometime..."sooooon".
