After much time spent sprinting across the campus, Jungkook found his target. He was sitting under a willow tree outside the entrance of the dark and shady school that they learned to call "Hangul Academy".
"Kim Namjoon!" A voice yelled.
The boy looked up from his intensive book reading and furrowed his brows in confusion. He seemed angry that he was disturbed.
"I-I want to know a-about what you said before y-you left class." Jungkook tried to sound confident but his anxiety and concern showed.
The boy who was furious that a younger and very anxiety-filled boy had disturbed him stared at him blankly. They did not show any sign of emotion, just pure nothing. It was like his feelings were chained up and locked away deep in his body.
Stifling a long sigh, the boy switched his seating positions. It seemed that he would be telling a long story and had to get comfortable about it.
"Well, if you really want to know, I suggest you solve the puzzle. It's all really a puzzle. Every clue you get, brings you closer to the person." The boy concluded while looking up at the sky behind the younger one.
"What's the first clue to the puzzle?"
The intellectual student paused for a moment. He was busy thinking of a good enough clue to give to the younger one. After much thought, the intellectual one spoke up.
"They are introverts." He bluntly stated.
"Is that all? I can think of so many people that fit that!"
"That's all that I'm giving you."
The younger student stifled a sigh. He began to drag his legs back toward the school building and back to his third period.
As he walked back to class, he saw a figure walk profusely quickly towards one of the abandoned janitor quarters that was diagonally across from his class.
He couldn't identify who it was but from their back, it was a male. The student wore their gym uniform and had messy dark brown hair. As they approached the quarters, they opened one of the doors that lead to the supplies closet.
Quickly, they closed the door behind them tightly. Blocking any communication from that closet to the outside world and where Jungkook stood, oblivious to the actions.
At the same time the student walked into the closet, a female girl walked out of Jungkook's classroom. As she stepped out, she looked to each side of the hallway until she laid her eyes on him.
"Yah Jungkook-sshi, why aren't you in class?" The female student barked at the oblivious young man.
"I-I had to go somewhere noona." The young man sheepishly explained. The female seemed to have not bought his excuse but did not ask anymore questions.
The female opened her mouth to say something after a brief pause but was interrupted by a loud yell. Someone yelled her name which sent her scurrying over to the owner of the voice.
Looking over, the young man saw that it was the boy from earlier. He had opened up the closet door and was holding it impatiently for her.
Still being oblivious to the situation, Jungkook slowly went back to class and made it in time before the Mrs. Kwon was passing out the Civics project.
"Class, this project will be due in a month. I'm giving this to you in advance because you will not have enough time to work on it. Not after the exam and presentation." Mrs. Kwon explained to the students.
But a certain student was not paying attention to the teacher. That student was busy looking out of the window of their classroom and admiring the view.
The fountain outside of the school was placed in the middle of the outdoor passage way across classrooms and students walked across it. The gym class was just beyond it. Mindfully playing Co-Ed games.
But, that did not seem to intrigue the student. They were too busy trying to come up with a certain person that they thought was the killer.
