Chapter 24

Third Person POV

"Get her, before she leaves Seoul."

"What if we can't find her?"

"Then you will get killed. She's too powerful to be let go, she has to finish the game."

"But, I thought she died?"

"Oh Seokjin, she never died."

"What do you mean?"

"She is too powerful to die, she is immortal."

Seokjin laughed at his statement then straightened himself up after he saw them glaring at him.

"I wouldn't be laughing if I was you," Another voice added.

"She managed to kill herself, her father and Mr. Yang."

"But now look at her, she's back. With a new appearance but the same cold personality."

"How do you know that she is the one?"

"Ever since the mountain incident, I knew that she was the one we need."

A loud bang struck the dark room they were in.

The door opened and there stood a familiar figure.

"Well, well, well. Look who it is, you came back eh?"

"Find my sister."

The figure abruptly stated before sitting down on a chair nearby the others.

"What's in it for us?"

The figure laughed sheepishly. Their smile was a crooked one. Showing their true colors.

"I know what you want, and you can have her for a bit when you find her."

The others sat silent for a few moments.

"We'll do it. But, we want to keep her."

The figure stood up quickly before slapping the nearest person to them.

"Are you stupid? I'm not letting her stay with you, I know what you're capable of."

"Then why are you letting us have her for a bit when we find her?"

"Because you want her to see Jungkook, you want her to get recognized by a familiar figure who was supposed to forget her. You really want her to finish the game."

"Smart, smart girl."

"I'm not a dumbass. I obviously know what you want and since our father is dead, we don't have any other way of paying off the debt without her."

Without another word, the figure walked out of the same door that they kicked open.

The others looked at each other, analyzing the situation.

"Did we make the right decision?" One asked.

"Of course! Yang owes us also." Another responded.

"Remember, Areum isn't at all like her sister. We can manipulate her whenever we want. She isn't as quick-witted as Jihye is." The leader of the group spoke.

They all nodded in agreement and continued doing their secret deal.
