"Bridge, what should I wear to the concert?"  Audrie had asked you. Bridge had been your nickname ever since you and Audrie met.

"Um, it's going to be cold obviously because it's December. Sweater, skinnies, and boots? That's what I'm wearing."

"I don't want us to look the same though that'll look weird," She replied as her eyebrow was raised.

"We won't look exactly the same. It'll be fine. Here I'll help you pick it out." You walked into Audrie's closet and started rummaging through her clothes. You practically live at her house so you knew exactly where everything was. You started taking certain clothes off the clothing rod but then shook your head and put it back. Then you spotted a gray sweater with buttons on the sleeve. You took it off the hanger and threw it out of the closet, "Wear this! With these," throwing dark skinny jeans out of the closet. "Oh, and these boots!" You walked out of the closet holding black boots that were mid calf high. "This is adorable and it'll keep you warm while we are walking downtown to the studio."

"This is perfect. Thanks. Now what are you going to wear? Something that will strike his attention. He's going to be your man," she said with a chuckle and a heavy grin.

You twirled in her room and landed on her bed, "You are so right. I'm wearing my black sweater with the gold letters spelling out 'love', light skinny jeans, and black boots. Comfy, casual, cute. The three C's. Does that work?" You sat up on her bed and looked at her waiting for an answer.

"Girl, he's gonna take one look at you and be speechless because he's gonna look into your blue eyes and fall head over heels."

You start dying of laughter, "Audrie, please stop dreaming and snap back into reality. I gotta go home now but I'll pick you up at three tomorrow and we can head down to Indy for the concert."

"Oh, whatever! I'll see you tomorrow. Hugs!" As she pulled you into a hug you ran out to your car where you blared the radio and headed home.

The Next Day

"Okay, mom I'm heading to Audrie's so we can leave early for the concert in case we get lost or get stuck in traffic. Love you."

"Enjoy! I can't wait to hear all about it and text me when you get there please. I love you too!" She engulfed you in a hug and you walked out the door.

You, of course, started blaring the Scotty CD so you could get even more pumped than you already were. Twenty minutes later you had reached Audrie's house. You ran into her house and screamed, "ARE YOU READY TO MEET SCOTTY?!"

"Yes!! Let's go and sing our faces off." As we waved bye to her parents we ran outside to my car where we jammed until we got close to downtown Indianapolis.

"Okay, direct me in the right location because I've never driven downtown before and I'm freaking out now." You hate driving in tons of traffic because of your previous wreck and it makes you nervous.

"You got this. Here let me type the address in my GPS and we can find a parking garage near the area." While she was typing you kept driving in a straight line as slow as you could. "Okay, turn right at the next light." As she gave you directions for the next ten minutes you finally made it to a parking garage where you exited your car and started walking downstairs to the downtown sidewalks.

"Well, we are over an hour early wanna walk  downtown and see what's around?" You asked eagerly.

"Yes! We definitely need to hit up the Starbucks though."

Walking into different stores downtown you realize that an hour has gone by and you still haven't gotten Starbucks. As you bring this to Audrie's attention you walk to the Starbucks which happens to be right across the street from the studio where Scotty is performing. While you're ordering you drink you spot a huge bus pulling up to the studio. Your eyes got big as you patted Audrie on the arm, "Audrie, look! I think he's here. Should we walk up to his tour bus or what?"

Without even answering she grabbed your arm and pulled you out of Starbucks. "We're going to say hi. This is perfect."

You began freaking out and stuttering your words as you were still being dragged along. "No, I can't do this. I'm freaking out. What if he thinks I'm a freak? Look! I'm sweating," you say as you lift up your arm.

She lets out a laugh, "Bridge, you can do this. Just breathe. You've been waiting for this for too long to just wimp out. You'll regret it if you don't."

You knew she was right. You knew you would regret this for the rest of your life if you didn't go talk to him at his tour bus. "Okay, you're right. Whew. let's go." You slowly walk towards the tour bus as you see Scotty jump out with a smile on his face as he's looking up at the buildings around the city. You smile at the thought of him enjoying your home state. His blue plaid shirt was peaking out of his black jacket. His old jeans looked worn towards the bottom and his outfit was topped off with some cowboy boots. You slowly start approaching him with Audrie right by your side. He looks up at you and lets out a soft grin. "Hey, Scotty. I'm Bridgit and this is Audrie. We are actually going to the close-up concert but saw your tour bus and thought we would come say hey." You uttered out this sentence then looked at the ground hoping he would have a quick reply.

"That's great. I'm glad you came and said hey. I love meeting my fans. Are you guys ready for the show? Hopefully it's a good one."

His grin was melting your heart, "Yeah, we've never been so excited. Did you uh, have a nice trip here?" You didn't know what else to say and that's the first thing that came to mind. Also you were wondering why Audrie wasn't saying anything. Big baby.

"Yeah, It was a long one but I love traveling new places. Well, listen I gotta go before anyone else recognizes me and I'm late but I'll see you guys at the show, right?"

"Uh, yeah. You'll definitely see us there. Hey, do you need help with carrying anything in? We would be happy to help," you said.

Audrie finally spoke up, "Yeah, we can lend a hand if needed."

"Actually we are short a couple people if you wouldn't mind carrying in a few things that would be great. I promise there will be an award for helping," He smiled at the both of you.

"Show us the way!" Both you and Audrie said in unison.

He smiled at you then led you into the tour bus.
