First off I just want to apologize for how long it has taken me to update. I promise to never take that long again. It has just been a terrible stressful month with a lot of mental breakdowns. But It's now spring break for me so I have a little break from school. Hope you enjoy

After the sunset finally faded away we thought it was probably time to head to Audrie's house to stargaze like we promised. Audrie and I started stargazing after my ex-boyfriend broke up with me. It was kind of a way for me to relax and be at peace, and after awhile it became a weekly routine. Every Friday night we would grab a bunch of blankets, some food, usually donuts, hot cocoa, and our phones, and we would lay the blankets down in the driveway while we laid on our backs and stuffed our faces while talking about everything possible. It was a best friend tradition and I couldn't wait to do it again.

"We have to go pick up some Krispy Kreme donuts before we go there." I said.

"Krispy Kreme donuts are the best. Chocolate covered ones."

I laughed as I pulled into the Krispy Kreme parking lot. Walking inside I said my hello's to the people who were working and picked out twelve delicious donuts that we would all love. Scotty held the door open for me as I carried the donut box out to the car.

"Here, can you hold these for me while I drive?" I asked as I handed the box of donuts to Scotty.

"Oh, sure thing." He grabbed the box from me and began to open it.

I slapped his hand away from the box, "I don't think so mister. You have to wait."

"Ya know being the official box holder I should have a right to eat at least one donut before we get there."

"Well, being the one who bought them. I don't think so."

"And that's only because you slapped my hand away from buying them as well. I mean if you're going to abuse me I don't think this is going to work out." He said with a wink and a devilish grin.

"Oh, just be quiet and wait ten minutes." I laughed.

Once we arrived at Audrie's I ran out of the car and up to the door with Scotty behind me. I've never knocked at her house so I let myself right in, "Audrie! We are back and we have donuts!"

Audrie came running out of her room and immediately grabbed the box out of Scotty's hands and began to eat one. "Seriously, you guys are the best. So delicious."

"Why does she get to eat one and I didn't earlier?" Scotty said with a pouty look on his face.

"She's my fave, duh" I said with a wink and a little push. I then grabbed a chocolate covered donut out of the box and handed it to Scotty. His eyes brightened and a wide smile appeared on his face. As soon as he was taking a bite Audrie's parents walked in.

"Girls, would you like to introduce us?"

"Oh, sorry. Mom and dad this is Scotty, Scotty this is my mom and dad," Audrie said while they all shook hands.

"I'm sorry for meeting you while I have my face full of donut," Scotty said with a laugh.

"It's just a pleasure to meet you. We are both huge fans." Audrie's mom said while her dad shook his head as if agreeing.

"Alright well we are going to go outside and stargaze. I'm going to go grab the blankets and Bridget can you make the hot cocoa?" Audrie asked while running to her room.

"Absolutely." I made the hot cocoa and once Audrie came back from her room we all headed outside. She laid out three blankets for each of us and put the donuts in the middle as we al laid on our backs and looked at the stars.
