I drive onto the clay road, trying not to splash in any puddles as I make my way to the Beach's house, I slowed to a stop at the iron gate.
"Name?"
F:"Finnley Beach."
The gears of the gate began to move making room for my car to enter. I pass the rows of trees lined up the long driveway before making it to the manor. The old southern three story house was built especially for my father, he is lets just say pretty loaded. when I was eight he won the lottery, all five hundred-eighty three million, or something like that. He also remarried to the nicest woman ever, but her daughter on the other hand, I would like to slap in the face with a brick.
"Nemo!"
"Dad!" I ran up and gave him a hug, the reason he calls me Nemo is because my name has 'fin' in it and I use to love to swim when I was younger.
We sat down in the living room and began to talk, soon Jane, wife #2, and Avery, devil stepsister, came to join.
Jane:"So how are you and Declan? Its your three year anniversary soon, right?"
I burst out laughing with water in my mouth and all.
F:"No! We are not together, and will never be!"
Jane:"Oh then have you had any boyfriends lately?"
F:"No...."
Avery:"Figures."
F:"Excuse me?"
Avery:"You've never had a boyfriend, are you really that stuck up?"
F:"No, Avery I'm just not a slut like you are." She sent me a glare and scoffed. Jane quickly changed the subject.
Jane:"Have you seen Tara lately?"
F:"I just saw her, she is getting so big! Bentley is already starting to train her to be a basketball superstar." My dad chuckles and rubs the scruff on his face.
"Taught that kid everything he knows. In fact, we should invite him over to dinner soon, Nemo you should come too and bring Tara."
F:"Okay, look at the time! I have to get home, I'll call you soon to make those plans, love you."
I say all my goodbyes to everyone except Avery who went up to her room when I called her a slut. She deserves it, ever since I've known her she has been nothing but cruel.
