Hey can we go somewhere tonight?”

“Like where?”

“I have a few ideas, pick me up at four.”

“Okay, just don’t murder me Finnley.”

“You wish.” I turn into English, the last class of the day and sit through the whole boring lecture.

I ride the bus to my mom’s house because Declan doesn’t know about me moving yet. How am I going to tell him? I go into my bathroom and brush my hair out so that its straight and then go on my laptop to check my social media.

Declan: “Finn! Are you ready to go?” He screamed at the top of his lungs. I grabbed my red hoodie and met him by the door.

Like any typical bad boy he has a motorcycle. On the contrary, I do love motorcycles it just is a little cliché with the whole bad boy act. Inside he is a mushy gushy sixteen year old boy.  I put the helmet on and climb onto the leather seat as we start going. We arrive at the skating rink just out of the city. It’s one of the nicer ones around, it has an arcade too.

Declan: “What do you want to do first?”

Me: “I don’t know, you know I stink at skating.”

Declan: “Then skating it is.” He smiled as he went over and bought our skates.

Me: “I don’t know if I can do this.”

Declan: “C’mon, just take my hand, I’ll be with you.”

I take his hand and step off the carpeted floor onto the wood. I held onto his hand tightly as we went in the oval shape of the rink. When I started feeling good about myself I let go of Declan’s hand and started skating by myself. I was actually having fun.

We were finished we went to play some pool in the arcade.

Me: “Um, I have to tell you something and I don’t know how your going to take it so just promise me you won’t make a scene.”

Declan: “Your not pregnant are you?”

Me: “No! Anyway, I’m moving back to Moonlight with my Dad.”

Declan was speechless, he walked over to me and looked me on the eyes and then he gently kissed me.
