My stomach was bleeding really badly. I watched the black car tear away and he left me. And took Joker. My stomach and shirt were covered in crimson, and so was the pavement. Why the hell wouldn't he just arrest me? I tried to get up but I couldn't. Everything was gone. I was right next to another alley, so I crawled towards the shadows.

I laid there, and propped my self against the wall. I was bleeding badly, and it was throbbing. The bullet hit me just above the hip. I don't know how I was still alive. I saw another slender shadow slink towards me. I could tell it was a woman because of the heels clicking. She kneeled down in front of me, and removed her sunglasses. "It's the middle of the night." I said, referencing her odd choice of eyewear. "When you attack, always go for the eyes." Shit. I knew her from Prison.

"Selina-its Aria." I said. "I know. Let's fix you up." We had been close friends in prison, she knew all the cheats to get away with murder and get whatever we wanted. "I-I don't think I can walk." I said and she laughed. "Then I can't help you." She grabbed my hand and yanked me up, and I let out a sharp cry. I could stand. And quite well actually. "Take off your jacket." She said, her long nails on my shoulder to steady me. I took it off and she ripped a sleeve off with incredible strength. She ripped off the other one and tied them together. Then she tied it around my waist very tightly. "Shit.."

"There you go." She started walking so I followed, and she tossed the sleeveless jacket into a dumpster. "So you're with the Joker I see." Selina knows EVERYTHING. "Yeah, he's great with a gun." She just laughed. "So I've heard." She swung up onto a fire escape and reached out her hand, pulling me up. "Hey, Selina-" "It's Cat." That's right. Cat woman. How could I forget.

"Right. Where are we going Cat?" She started crawling up the stairs quietly with caution, so I followed. "We're going to the roof. I need to show you something." That's when I looked up, realizing how tall this building actually was. We had about 30 more landings, 7 steps for each. 210 more steps. My body couldn't physically do that, let alone the sharp sleeves tied around my high waist. But I could try. For Mr J, I'd do anything. And I had to get him back.
