So here is the new chapter.
Make it rain with votes babes. And comments, need more and more of those.
Don't be silent readers. I would love to see what you think abut my story and the plot and characters. Also in-line comments are my fave, cause that way I get to see what you liked the most.
So have fun reading and tell me what you think.
And also I am trying new ideas of covers. How do you like the new one? But the new edited story?
****************************************
I've come to the conclusion that perhaps out of all the creatures in this Universe, Fate was the worse of them. It always has that sneaky way of creeping up on you without you even noticing it or being able to do something about it. And sometimes, if you are lucky enough, it can take your hand and slowly walk you on the other side where is safe. But then, the other times, it just brutally pushes you in front of the bus, hoping that maybe you will avoid it.
And that is exactly how I feel right now. After reading the contract he wrote. A contract full with "What no to do." and "What you should/have to do." Rules over rules, one more infuriating than the other, about how I should act how I should behave and wear. I feel like I just was thrown in front of the bus and although I can see it coming towards me at full speed, not even one muscle in my body is able to move.
I am stuck. I know I am going to get hit by it, and that it will hurt like hell and I will barely survive it, but I have to stop the bus from hitting the others.
"Are you done reading?" came the powerful voice of the man in front of me.
I slowly raise my head so our eyes could meet. His are dangerously darkening with each moment passing.
I honestly feel like crying and laughing all together. Here in front of me sits the man who will probably drive the bus, but the only thing I can think about is how beautiful he looks under the sunshine. How pathetic am I?
"Yes I am."
"And? I expect at least one complain. So tell me Roza, what don't you agree with."
Did he just call me Roza? A single person, which I barely remember, has ever called me like that a very long time ago.
"Well, for starters what do you mean by "obliged to answer her phone every time" you call me? So you don't just treat me as an object but you also expect me to be at your beck and call 24/7. I have a life, mind I remind you."
"I know that very well Miss Parker, but I need to know where you are all the time and also I might need your assistance and if I can't reach you because you are too busy not answering your phone, then we will have a problem."
I just narrow my eyes at him and shake my head, annoyed beyond words.
" Oh, for real? You don't say! God forbid that happens. How idiotic of me to even question something like that, right Mr. Makariy?"
" Yes, indeed. Glad one of us finally said the truth." he answers with an arrogant smile on his stupid face.
I can't even begin to understand the man in front of me. How could he be so childish and stupidly arrogant at the same time?
" Moving on, I will not live in the same house as you so scratch that out of your list."
" But..."
"No buts, I will not, repeat, not share the same room as your pretentious ass. Do you hear me?"
"Mind your language Miss Parker or have you forgotten who you are talking to?" he scolds at me like you would do to a disobedient child.
