Stranger II (Sequel) [Completed]

Chapter ¤ 10 -Part II-

[A/N: If y'all remember from the first story, Rios was introduced to Ki and Mai at the club where Dre fought Darian. Rios and Dre had been cool with each other at one point. But he just so happened to be Jai're's friend.]

*An Hour Later*

Analis' got in touch wit that nigga Jai're, and he said he would be on his way. It's been an hour and that nigga still hasn't shown up yet.  I'm gettin impatient and this nigga should know not to play wit me, after that time I fought Darian at the club. Speakin of Darian, I know he's the one who's behind all this kidnapping shit.

Shouldn't he have learned his damn lesson the first time? Obviously I didn't beat enough since into his ass, so it's time for round two. This time I ain't gonna be so nice. You don't take somethin that belongs to me and get away wit it. Nigga's don't know how to move on from a female that don't want them. I swear they don't.

"Yo he just pulled up." Rome said, looking through the front window. "Bout damn time." Jay mumbled, takin the words right out my mouth. I looked over at Analis' who had a worried look on her face. I could tell she didn't want to be a part of this and I don't blame her. If shit get ugly between me and Jai're, I already know she gonna feel some type of way. I know she still got feelin's for him.

I heard the front door open and Rome and Jai're exchange 'What's up'. Out of the corner of my eye I saw him walk into the living room, and sit on the opposite couch in front of me and Jay. Makin sure not to sit too close to Analis'. I laughed a little cuz Rome never did confront Jai're and Analis' together. But hey it was her fault just as much as his. He did right by checkin Analis' and not Jai're.

I looked over at Jai're who gave me a head nod.  I gave him one back, as he did the same wit Jay. I cleared my throat since I could feel the obvious tension in the room. I already knew what I had to ask this nigga cuz I had more than enough time to think. Jai're leaned back into the couch and looked as if he had a million thoughts runnin through his head.

"Aight Jai. Imma say this once and I hope you listening cuz I don't like repeatin myself." I told him, lookin straight into his eyes. He nodded. "When I'm askin you these questions,  I want nothin but the truth. If you even dare try and lie to me, I got some people outside that can handle that for me. Feel me?" I asked him. "I feel you mayne. I wouldn't have a reason to lie doe." he replied.

I chuckled "Yea aight. We'll see." I told him. I sat up straight sittin close to the edge of the couch, before drillin him. "So you wanna tell me why you wanted Ki to call you last night? What was so 'important'?" I asked him, makin sure to put emphasis on important. He sighed and shook his head. I watched him intently waitin for him to slip up.

"I texted her sayin I needed her to call me, cuz it was somethin important I found out. I thought she would have called me when I told her. But she didn't. That afternoon I had found out Darian had gotten his restraining order lifted." he explained. Wait. Hol up. I know he ain't just really say this bullshit. I clenched my jaw tight and could feel my blood boiling. How is this even possible?

"Wait. So you tellin me that he got off the hook? How?" I asked him. He shrugged his shoulders. "I don't really know. He said he got some people to help him wit that shit. So... I'm guessin he ain't do it the legal way." he told me. Analis' put her head into her hands and I knew she was cryin. Rome was shakin his head and so was Jay.

Me? I ain't have no emotion. All I wanted to do was find Darian and make his ass pay. I know him and Jai are cousins but fuck that. He knew what he was gettin himself into. "Aight... So what happened after that?" I asked him. "Well he came to my crib and was tryin to get me to tell him where Ki stayed at. But I told him I wasn't gonna tell him. He tried to threaten me and shit, but I still wasn't gonna tell 'em. Once he figured out I was serious about not tellin him, he said he already knew where she stayed. He just wanted to see if I would be loyal to him. Shit I'm Kiley best friend. After what he did to her at the club, my loyalty for him went out the gotdamn window." he explained.

I sat there rubbin a finger under my goatee,  takin in everything he tellin me right now. I really don't know what the fuck Darian infatuation wit Ki is, but this nigga is psycho as fuck. How you keep chasin after the same girl for almost three years now. This shit is ludacris.

"Aight. Anything else?" I asked him. "Yea. I had texted her again around nine, ten minutes to ten, tellin her that she needed to call me now. I told her it was serious. She had called me but..." he told me trailing off. I looked at him and frowned. "But what?" I asked. He put his head down and looked at the floor. He sighed "I answered but she didn't get a chance to say anything. All I heard was what sounded like she dropped her phone. And then her screamin. Then the line clicked." he explained.

I quickly stood up. I was beyond pissed now. Analis' was sobbin loudly now and walked out of the room, wit Rome right behind her. Jay ass just sat there lookin shocked. I wanted to blow up on Jai but he wasn't worth it. He ain't have nothin to do wit what happened to Ki. He was just tryin to look out for her but she didn't take his heed seriously.

"I tried to help her mayne. I really did and I'm sorry. I ain't think no shit like this would happen." Jai're pleaded. I held my hand up. "It's aight man. I know you were. I should've been the one to have security around the house, ever since we had to put a restraining order against him. I ain't think this nigga was that fuckin crazy." I said slightly laughin.

Jai just nodded. "But for real now. Enough talkin and time to find this nigga. You know where he's at?" I asked him. "Yea. He's at a hotel downtown. One of my boys found out that's where he's been stayin lately." he told me. Damn this shit gonna be hard. I sighed "Aight. Well since this is a place where people could be witnesses, we gotta take precaution." I told him.

Before I could say anything else I heard the front door open and close. I quickly looked to the side to see it was just Rios. He stepped close to me and folded his arms across his chest. "I got some people that's gonna handle this situation. We'll get Ki and bring Darian to a undisclosed location, that I'll tell you about later." he told me. I nodded "Aight." "Give me two hours." he said before walking back outside.

I sat back down on the couch and pulled my phone out my pocket. 4:57 p.m. I sighed.

Two hours is gonna seem like eternity.
