I had finally landed back in Miami and I couldn't wait to get home to my wifey. I really had been through hell and back all in one day. But I was just happy that I made all in one piece. Lord know's some other shit could have went down. But I'm glad it didn't. God really did have my back through all that. I just hope that I don't have to go through it ever again.

I know I had Ki worked up and worried the whole time I was gone, and I wish I would have done things differently before I left. But I got somethin to make up for that. I just hope that with everything that's done went down she'll accept it.

If you really think about it, me and Ki have been through a hell of a lot at such a young age that most people would probably never experience at all. I know they say that everything happens for a reason. But I for damn sure never thought that everything that happened to us would happen. I'm thankful that everything that did happen to us tho because it's made both of us stronger. I know Ki is way stronger than me tho.

Never in a million years did I think that I would have had the chance to meet and get to know someone as beautiful, kind, loving, caring down to earth and fiesty as Ki. I never really thought that anyone would take the time to know the real me besides my music. I thank her for bein there for me since day one cuz without her, none of this would have ever came about.

Honestly if I never met Ki I think I would still be doin the same shit I use to do after my mother died. I sat at home wrote my music and just let it sit there for months. I always doubted myself and believed that nobody was gonna love the shit I wrote. But I was wrong. Ki changed that for me and I owe it all to her.

She's my backbone.

My life.

My everything.

I'd give her my last just for her to be happy.

My cab pulled up to the gate and I paid the toll leavin the driver with a tip. I didn't even look to see how much it was, just slapped him a hundred and told him to keep the change. I got out the car and walked up to the keypad to type in the code. The gates started to open and I made my way through them and up the long driveway to the house. After walking for about five minutes, I had finally made it up to the front door.

I looked up at the windows to see complete darkness so I knew Ki had to be sleep. But I was hoping she wasn't. I took my keys out and unlocked all three locks. As I stepped in surprisingly, the alarm didn't go off so I knew Ki had to be up. She always turned the alarm on before she went to bed.

Closing the door behind me, I locked all the locks and set the alarm. I made my way through the living room and to the spiral staircase that led to the upstairs. Once I got to our bedroom door I saw it was cracked and it was dim. I quietly slipped myself through the crack to see Ki laying peacefully on the bed with the patio door still open, and candles lit on the dresser. I slid my shoes off and walked over to the patio door, sliding it shut as quietly as I could.

I turned around to see she was still sleep so I started stripping out of my clothes down to my boxers. I slowly walked over to the bed and climbed in behind her. I laid close to her and moved her hair to the side, gently kissing her neck. She stirred in her sleep but didn't fully wake up. I leaned up some and kissed from her neck to the side of her lips. Her eyes finally opened.
