Troye felt a hand on his shoulder and he instantly tensed, flattening his ears and puffing up his tail. A low snarl sounded from his throat. He showed his teeth and the hand left his shoulder, allowing him to turn around. Familiar blue-green eyes met Troye's blue as Troye hissed, backing away.

"Why are you here?" Troye growled, teeth still bared as he flattened himself against the wall.

"Connor is sick, Troye. You know that."

"No shit," Troye spat, making Tyler's eyes widen. He opened his mouth to correct the neko, but decided to shut his mouth before he could. "It's quite obvious why he is! This is all your fault, every last bit of it!"

"Troye-"

"No! Shut up! Do you not see what you put us through? What you put Connor through? He loved you! He loved you with all his heart and you took that love and grinded it up!"

"I know I did, but right now we need to think about Connor who is in that room-"

"I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW STUPID YOU ARE!" Troye screamed, grabbing the attention of some nurses, who started to walk towards him. "YOU MADE HIM SICK! YOU MADE HIM HURT LIKE THIS AND YOU THINK THAT TAKING A SHOWER AND COMING BACK TO HIM CAN FIX EVERYTHING? YOU PROBABLY PAYED FOR THAT SHOWER USING THE MONEY YOU MADE OFF OF SELLING HIM OFF! HOW MANY TIMES DID YOU DO IT, TYLER?"

"I need you to stop yelling right now," a nurse said, a sharp look to her blue eyes as she glared at Troye.

Troye glared right back at her, rage causing his hands to shake at his sides. He tore his eyes from her and glared at Tyler instead. "I hate you, Tyler Oakley." With that Troye spun on his heels and stomped past Bri, who had froze in shock. She shook herself out of it and ran after Troye though, stopping him just before he got out of the hospital.

"What was that?" she snapped, pulling him away from the doors by his arm, not fazed my the hissing. "You can't just come in here and start yelling! Who was he and why were you so upset?"

"He," Troye started, ignoring Ryan who was peering around the corner at them, "was Tyler Oakley, Connor's old owner. The person who made me and many other kitties strip so he could get money, the man who took me from Daddy and sold mine and Connor's bodies, the man who beat and starved us until we escaped."

Bri's face had fallen. "I-I'm sorry Troye, I didn't know... I... I don't know how he found out where you are. I'm going to get the police in here, okay?"

"Good," Troye said, pulling away from Bri's grip. "Now, I want to go see Connor. So if you could hurry and get him out of there..."

Bri nodded and let Troye leave, hurrying off to make a call. Ryan slowly made his way out from behind the corner and made his way to Troye, looking quite unsure with his surroundings.

"I-I'm sorry, Troye," he whispered, looking at him with big chocolaty eyes. He looked like he wanted to hug Troye, so the blue eyed boy moved forward and wrapped his arms around Ryan.

"It's okay," Troye sighed, snuggling into Ryan slightly. He didn't want to let go, it felt nice to hold anyone that was warm and smelled nice. "I'm sorry if I scared you."

Ryan pulled away and smiled at the slightly smaller neko, holding his hand out, which Troye took. "Should we go see your friend?"

Troye nodded and started to walk along to the room where Connor was. "Can you come in with me?" Troye asked, looking at his feet.

"Of course," Ryan replied, following Troye into the room where Connor lay.

Tyler was sitting at the bed with his back to them, whispering to Connor's sleeping form. "I'm sorry, my baby boy... I can't believe I did this to you..."

Tyler spun around when he heard the door, revealing the tears rolling down his cheeks. They were hollow too, just like Connor's. They were all unhealthy, with bags under their eyes. None of them had eaten right, or slept right, and none of them were in the right of mind.

"T-Troye," Tyler said, hurrying to wipe his eyes. "I know you will never believe me, but I'm so sorry. I... I don't even know what to say. I know I can never take what I did back as much as I wish I could, and I know you could never forgive me. But... Jacob is on his way here now, I payed for his flight and stay and for both of you to go back to LA." He was silent for a moment before walking to Connor's side and laying a featherlight kiss on the neko's forehead and stroking his ears before turning back around. "I guess this is it. Goodbye, Troye."

Tyler then walked out of the room, leaving Troye, Ryan and Connor alone in the dim room. "Daddy is coming..." Troye whispered, looking to Ryan with excitement in his eyes. They dimmed again when he looked at Connor. "Poor Connie..."

Ryan followed Troye to the side of the bed and sat down, looking at the neko with tubes running from his body. He was asleep, and hooked up to so many machines Troye couldn't even begin to count the wires and tubes. A doctor walked in a few minutes later, offering Troye and Ryan a fake smile. "Hello Ryan," he said, looking at Connor with a frown. "I'm just going to wait for Bri to get back up here, then we will talk about Connor's condition, okay?"

Troye nodded and ran his fingers lightly over Connor's hand. It was cold.
