Soft chattering glides around the room as the girls work on their crafts before the end of the day. Kyungsoo is sitting at his desk in the back corner of the room, just close enough to them that he'll be able to get to them whenever they need his help. There are a lot of things going on his mind at the moment, a lot that's hard for him to process even with all the time he spends by himself.

The whole quality time situation with Jongin has found its way back in between them once again, but this time as Kyungsoo sits and gazes at an invisible spot in the air, that's not the prominent thought in this mind. No, what he's thinking about has far worse potential than lack of quality time does. What he's thinking about has the ability to completely obliterate everything he and Jongin especially worked so hard to build. Moreover, though, the one thought that's taking over Kyungsoo's mind has enough power to kill Jongin slowly from the inside out without him even being aware of it.

Only approximately ten or so minutes remain in the school day when Kyungsoo finally sighs and exits his thoughts. The chair screeches against the rough wooden floor as it slides back in order for Kyungsoo to stand up and begin the short journey over to the girls. He checks in on each of them and prepares to clean up, but he's stopped when he hears a small yet rumbling knock shake the school room's frame and the sound has him looking up to find its source.

"Baek and Chanyeol?" he says, the pitch of his voice going higher as he stands up with creased eyebrows. "What are you doing here? I didn't think the workday was over yet."

"It's not technically, but we, uh..." Chanyeol begins to explain to the shorter male in front of him, his voice trailing off as he glances over at Baekhyun. "We took a short break because we had something to tell you."

"Oh, really?" Chanyeol just nods his head and, in turn, Kyungsoo looks back at the girls once more to tell the eldest she's in charge for a few minutes before stepping outside with them. "What's going on?" he asks. "Is it about Jongin?"

"Well...sort of, yeah," Chanyeol answers as he rubs the back of his neck in distress. "He's part of it."

Sighing, Kyungsoo glances down at his covered feet and places both hands on his hips. "It has to do with Taemin and Krystal, doesn't it?" he says next in a much quieter voice and the two males furrow their eyebrows as Kyungsoo meets their eyes again.

"Y-Yeah, it does..." Chanyeol says while shaking his head slightly. "But how did you know?"

"I had a feeling," Kyungsoo replies somberly despite the fact that there's a smile on his face. "Everything these days seems to do deal with them."

Chanyeol exhales. "So then I guess you know that they're the spies?" he asks, earning a nod from Kyungsoo before he speaks.

"Hyunsik explained everything to me when I caught Taemin threatening him. I didn't want to believe it at first, but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense. Now it's like all the signs were there, but I was just too blind to see them."

"I know, right," Chanyeol says in agreement. "It's funny how we're still able to be deceived so easily even after living in a place where we knew we were being lied to." Huffing, Kyungsoo nods and raises his eyebrows for a second. "Have you told Jongin about this?" he inquires and the mere mention of Jongin's name in relation to the subject has Kyungsoo flinching as he looks up at Chanyeol.

"I...I can't bring myself to," he admits with a heavy sigh, shifting the weight on his one foot onto the other. "He trusts Taemin so much and goes to him for advice about nearly everything...he'd never believe me if I told him that he's just been using him as part of his evil plan. They've grown too close."

"Well, that certainly explains a lot," Chanyeol says as he also shifts and looks over at Baekhyun, who just gulps.

"What do you mean?" Kyungsoo asks, looking at them in confusion. "Did something happen between you and him?"
