"I told you, I'm not going with you guys. There's no way I'm climbing into some rickety old... sleigh," Jack stared at the decked out sleigh in awe, "Okay, one ride, but that's it."
He hopped in the back and looked over the edge.
"Everyone loves the sleigh," North said, getting in and grabbing the reigns, "Bunny, what are you waiting for?"
Sandy and I got in next and I was forced to sit between them, not that I really minded, I was getting kind of hot in the workshop. It wasn't that bad being next to Frost anyway, he was cool at least and as much as I hate to admit it, not as bad as I first imagined.
"I think my tunnels might be faster mate, and um, and safer," Bunny kicked the sleigh a bit and it rocked.
"Ack, get in," North picked up Bunny by the scruff of his neck and sat him down in the back next to Sandy, "Buckle up."
"Where are the bloody seatbelts?" Bunny looked around almost frantically.
"Hah! That was just expression," North took the reins again, "Are we ready?"
The yeti that was working on the sleigh said something in yeti language and shook its head 'no' before quickly trying to finish whatever it was doing. The sleigh took off and Bunny dug his claws into the side as force of the wind pushed him back. Jack looked around me at him and chuckled. You could hear Bunny's screams echoing through the icy tunnel as we went faster.
"I hope you like the loop de loops," North laughed back at us.
"I hope you like carrots," Bunny responded.
Jack was standing, and Sandy lifted his arms as if he were on a roller coaster. Then, we were finally out of the tunnel and air borne. Jack stood precariously on the back of the sleigh, staring down at the ground below and having the time of his life. I stood up and moved closer to him, ready to grab him if necessary. Bunny calmed a bit but still looked like he was going to throw up.
"Hey Bunny, check out this view," Jack started.
The next thing I know, Jack's fallen off the sleigh and Bunny's cheeks got large as if he were trying to hold vomit in. I panicked and flew off the sleigh, momentarily forgetting that Jack could fly. Bunny looked over the edge to make sure he was alright as well.
"Jack!" I cried out as I became air borne myself.
"Awe, you do care," he stated from his seated perch on the sleigh's runners.
Bunny and I glared at him for scaring us like that. I couldn't believe it, but his statement was true. Sometime between when we met and now I'd grown to care about Frost, it was too fast for my liking.
"Aw, rack off you bloody show pony," Bunny commented.
"C'mon," I stood on the edge of the sleigh and held my hand out for Jack to get back in and sit down.
"Hold on everyone, I know a shortcut," North stated once everyone was back in their seats.
I was sitting closer to Jack this time, making sure that he wouldn't play another trick like that. We were so close that our thighs were touching, but I ignored it, and Jack seemed too happy to be flying to notice.
"I knew I should've taken the tunnels," Bunny cowered back further into his seat.
"I say... Tooth Palace," North whispered to a snow globe before tossing it ahead of us to create one of his portals.
