"Left central incisor, knocked out in a freak sledding accident, I wonder how that could have happened. Jack?" Tooth smiled at Jack when Affiah and I arrived through the window.

My smile faltered for a moment, seeing the two of them together, but I got my act together and put on a smile for the show. I felt Affiah place her paw on my shoulder and smile sadly at me, letting me know that she noticed. I just shook my head at her as Jack spoke up.

"Kids huh?" he laughed.

"So, he's the new guardian you were telling me about?" Affiah looked at Jack with her head tilted to the right.

"Jack, this is Affiah, the spirit of the clouds. Affiah, the king of winter," I introduced proudly.

"Nice to meet you," Jack held his hand out to shake hers, but was interrupted by North trying to stuff his body through the window.

"Here you are," North stated a bit too loud for Tooth, she shushed him and pointed to the sleeping kid.

"What gives slow pokes? How you feeling Toothy?" North switched to a whisper.

"Believed in," she replied with a wide smile.

"That's what I want to hear," North smiled.

"Oh, I see how it is, all workin together to make sure the rabbit gets last place," Bunny appears from a hole in the ground.

The guardians shushed him and he noticed Affiah standing next to me.

"Affiah?" he breathed out in awe.

"Hello Bunny," she smiled shyly.

"You think I need help to beat a bunny, check it out Peter Cottontail," Jack pulled a bag out from behind his back.

"You call that a bag of choppers?" Bunny pulled out his own back that was bigger than Jack's, "Now THAT's a bag of choppers."

"Calm down boys," I pulled out my own bag, slightly larger than Bunny's, "I've got you both beat."

"Gentlemen, Gentlemen... and lady, this is about Tooth, it's not a competition. But if it was," North heaves his bag over his shoulder and plops it on the floor, it could easily encompass all of our bags combined, "I win. Yeeeehaaw!"

North began doing a victory dance when a flashlight illuminated him.

"North!" I chastised.

"Oh no," he muttered, freezing.

"Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, Sand Man, the Tooth Fairy, I knew you'd come," the little boy, that I now recognized as Jamie, shone his light on all of the guardians.

"Surprise, we came," Tooth shrugged happily with a smile.

"He can see us?" Jack asked hopefully.

"Most of us," Bunny spoke up, looking at the place where Jack, Affiah, and I stood.

Jack's hopeful smile faltered and I put my hand on his shoulder, squeezing it to show him my support. He lowered his head slightly and wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me beside him and shocking me half to death with his actions. My legs just about turned to mush as his arm brought a funny feeling to my stomach. My heartbeat quickened and blood rushed to my cheeks, but my body cooled to a nice temperature and stayed there. Affiah giggled.

"Shh, you guys, he's still awake," Tooth whispered.

"Sandy, knock him out," Bunny said and Sandy punched his hand a few times, "With the dream sand you gumby."

A dog awoke and growled in Bunny's face.

"No, stop, that's the Easter Bunny, what are you doing Abby, down," Jamie tried to reign in his dog to no avail.

"Alright, nobody panic," Bunny put his sack of teeth down and Affiah gasped.

The dog turned to her, and upon seeing a cat changed the thing it was growling at. Bunny easily stepped in front of her to protect her from the beast, I almost let out an 'awww' right then.

"But that's a um, that's a greyhound," Jack pointed to the dog, "Do you know what greyhounds DO to rabbits?"

"I think it's a pretty safe bet he's never met a rabbit like me," Bunny relaxed his muscles to fight and Sandy tossed a ball of dream sand in his palm, "six foot one, nerves of steel, master of tai chi, and-," Bunny was cut off by Jack poking an alarm and making it go off.

The dog lunged and knocked Sandy's dream dust ball off balance. Bunny started bouncing around the walls as Jamie tried to calm his dog. Sandy raised his ball and took aim, only to be tackled by the dog. The ball flew out of his hand and hit Tooth, knocking her out, then bounced off a picture frame and hit Bunny who was near its next target, Affiah. The dog fell next and North was hit as he tried to leave through the window. He fell on the bed and Jamie flew into Sandy's arms, where he was promptly put to sleep.

"Oh I really wish I had a camera right now," Jack laughed and I chuckled seeing them all piled on top of each other and Affiah and Bunny cuddling unintentionally.

"I second that," I spoke up from next to him, his arm still wrapped around my waist.

"Oh, uh, sorry," he blushed a little and let go.

A nightmare horse appeared outside of the window, looking at us before it took off. I could sense something was off, but I followed Jack when he took off after them anyway, I wasn't going to let him get hurt.

"Sandy come on, we can find Pitch," Jack called for Sandy and he joined us in our chase.
