The window in Jamie's room was forced open by a strong gust of wind and outside was completely pitch black. Jack and I stared out the window and saw North's sleigh roughly skid to a stop on the street outside, the reindeer running off afterwards.
"Come back!" North called to his reindeer, scrambling wobbly toward them.
"North, are you okay?" Tooth asked as she steadied him.
"Is official, my powers are kaput," North sat down clumsily and the seats on his sleigh caved in.
Jack and I flew out of Jamie's window to them, Tooth noticed us first.
"Jack! Clover!" she tried to fly to us, but ended up landing on the street weakly.
Jack and I helped her up and I noticed her wings weren't moving as much as normal.
"You okay?" Jack asked her.
"What are you doing here?" North cut in, he was using one of his swords as a cane.
"Same as you," Jamie ran out of his house just as Jack answered.
"The last light," North looked at the boy, who stared with wide eyes.
"Whoa, it is you, I mean, it is you," he laughed and touched North's large hand, "I knew it wasn't a dream."
"Jack, he sees you," North realized when Jamie looked over at him.
"He sees both of us," Jack answered, wrapping his free arm around my shoulders, "Wait, but, where's Bunny?"
"Losing Easter took its toll on all of us," North began, "Bunny most of all."
North moved out of the way and Bunny was carried out of his sleigh in Affiah's arms. He was the size of an actual bunny though, not his normal tall self. I knelt down to Jamie and whispered to him.
"Affiah, the spirit of the clouds," I whispered, "She's a beautiful, tall orange and brown tabby cat that stands on two legs like Bunny used to."
His eyes widened for a second and he breathed out the word 'cool'. Affiah looked to him and managed a small smile, she was glad to be seen after all her years of invisibility, but she was more worried about Bunny.
"Oh no," Jack muttered upon seeing our shrunken friend.
"That's the Easter Bunny?" Jamie laughed and walked up to the two of them.
"Now somebody sees me, I mean, where were you about an hour ago mate?" Bunny's accent was still the same though.
"What happened to him?" Jamie questioned, "He used to be huge, and cool, and now he's cute."
He scratched Bunny's cheek and Bunny thumped his foot a few times before pushing the boys hand away.
"Did you tell him to say that?" Bunny hopped out of Affiah's arms and over to Jack, scratching his pants a few times before putting his paws up in punching position, "That's it, let's go, me and you, come on."
"No," Jamie squatted down to Bunny's height, "Actually he told me you were real, just when I started to think that maybe you weren't."
"He made you believe," Bunny pointed to himself and spoke in a soft voice, "In me?"
Jamie smiled and nodded his head yes. Bunny looked to Jack and gave a watery smile of thanks, just when lightning lit up the sky and thunder roared. Everyone looked up to see Pitch on a cloud of nightmare sand.
