-SCARY CHAPTER-

Grandfather's words did not make me sleep.

Plus the rain is pouring noisily.

"Cant sleep" I mumbled to myself.

"Oh yeah tomorrow is early dismissals!"

I heard a knock on my door plus thunder crashed.

This sent shivers down my spine.

I walked to the door and peaked at it nobody was there..

*OMG! Please dont scare me!*

I closed it carefully and locked it backing to my bed.

The knock was clear now and thunder crashed again.

I opened it again and saw nothing.

*Lemme explore*

Then I tripped.

Then something pulled my leg.

"Eeeeeeeekkkkkk!!!" I screamed.

Using my flashlight I looked around.

Someone whispered near me,

"Do you want to play?"

I screamed and ran to Lucas's room and jumped on him making him wake up.

"Holy shi...Georgette? Why are you still up!" He yelled at me.

"S-something is is in the h-hallway!" I said panicking.

"Geez if its Matt I swear I'll kill him!" He said putting on his glasses.

Thunder crashed and I screeched squeazing Lucas's arm.

"Georgette I sleep shirtless remember!" Lucas said eyeing me.

"Sowwy..." I was shivering.

Then we heard a laughter from outside.

"Hell no he is going to prank us!"

When he opened the door nobody was there.

"Matt I swear! Get back to sleep its like 1:23 AM!"

"Georgette the coast is clear you can go back to your room" he said closing the door.

I shook my head "You know that he would still do that right?"

"So your sleeping here?" He asked.

"I'll go to Matt's room!" I ran out the door.

*This bastard better be snickering in his room right now*

I opened it and something jumped in front of me making me scream again.

Then Matt laughed.

"Oh my....you should have seen your face!"

I groaned at a sudden pain near my foot.

Matt kept on snickering backing to his room.

When I tried to stand up I fell again.

"I think I sprained my ankle." I whispered to myself.

I cried it was painful!

I heard footsteps and saw Lucas.

"What happened?!" Then he saw me holding my ankle.

He growled and knocked on Matt's door.

"Wha--" he was cut off by Lucas smacking his face and pointing at me.

"What have you done!" Lucas held his shirt and Matt noticed me crying holding my ankle.

"Im sorry! I did not know it will turn out like this!" Matt explained.

"Mom and dad are asleep so does that mean I will be the only one to check on that sprain."

We went to the kitchen and me sitting on the counter whimpering, Lucas was checking my foot.

*I cant stop whimpering its so painful*

He pressed the sprain and I yelped.

"This is not good!" He said.

"Look Im sorry G! I never knew that it will backfire the memory again." Matt apologized.

"Georgette is it okay if you sleep in my room so I can check on your foot and when morning comes I will tell mom about this!"
Lucas said and I nodded.

Matt gave me an apologizing look and carried me to Lucas's room.

When Matt left Lucas was sighing and looked at my foot again.

I remembered that scary memory that someone broke in our house and I woke up seeing the thief and him knocking me out unconscious.

But dad heard me crying and caught the thief.

Lucas sat down on the bed and placed the covers on me and ended up sleeping beside me.

*I hate this day* I thought and fell asleep.

/Time Skip to Morning\

"Matthias Carl Perez what did you just do!!!!" My mom shrieked.

"You know what happened before, now this totally backfired her in remembering that memory. Plus she had a sprain!"

This is what I heard when waking up that morning.

Lucas was still asleep.

*Oh yeah he has afternoon classes during Fridays!*

I tried to walk but the sprain is pretty bad.

Lucas woke up to the shifting of his bed signalling him that I was awake.

Matt came in and looked sad.

"Georgette, please forgive me! I promise not to do it again."

"Nah..its okay. Besides its only an accident!"

"Well you have to be absent for the day because of your foot."

My head was having a party when he said I 'll have to be absent for the day.
