Who I Used To Be (Garroth x Reader Sneak Peek)

Prologue.

Reader's POV

It's dark here. It's been like this ever since I woke up. I don't know how I got here, and I don't know where here is. But I know it's dark. It's slowly consuming me. I'm losing hope.

Wait, what the hell? There's a light figure, standing in front of me. It looks like a person, but I can't make out who it is. It looks like they're clutching something, but I can't tell what. Now another figure of light is standing next to it, it looks like they're holding hands. Is this supposed to resemble a happy couple? And what does this have to do with me?

It's getting brighter in here, and I don't know what to do. I'm moving now, and I'm scared. This time, a black figure passed right by me, and from what I can tell, they look scared, too.

I'm now engulfed in pure light, and it feels good and warm. Like I'm supposed to be here. It's like a paradise away from the darkness, and it's a long overdue vacation.

Ugh, now I feel sluggish, and dizzy. I can barely stand and I faintly hear something. Something I thought I'd never hear.

"Hey! They're waking up!" A feminine voice squeeked with excitement.

Wait, whose waking up? Is she talking about me? I'm awake right now, I don't understand, and it frustrates me that I don't.

I haven't notices it, but now I'm crawling. I don't have control over my body. It's like it's guiding itself forward to wherever it wants me to go. And I'll let it take me there.

I just hope I get there.
