The Lazy Ninja (A Naruto Fanfic)

Chapter 10

Once we had all met up at the gate, we exchanged a few words (Mostly Tazuna insulting Naruot) before we finally headed off the old man's village.  

I was getting pretty bored, so i decided to sing a song as I walked. That was what I always did when I was alone.

I noticed that everyone, that had been walking in front of me, was now looking back at me, mostly in awe. 

I continued playing before I noticed a puddle. I hope these bandits don't think I'm this stupid. Obviously some more amateur Chunnin.  

Such stupid ninja's, I knew you shouldn't have become a ninja.....

Oh! M.N., I'm happy to finally talk to you!!! But, hold on, these ninja guys are about to attack....

The ninjas came out of the puddle and their chain weapon wrapped around him and tore him apart, but I knew it was a clone because I could sense Kaka-sans chakra nearby.

"Ah, geez. I thought this was gonna be easy....." 

Then a chain came in my direction, as Sasuke battled the other ninja, Naruto froze in place, and Sakura stayed back to protect Tazuna. 

A vine grew out of the ground and wrapped around the chain as it came towards me. I was thinking about using Plant ninjitsu: Blood Crush, like I used in my most previous bandit encounter. But, I didn't want to do that because it takes up too much chakra. I need to save it.

So, I decided to take out some kunai's and throw them. I told myself before that I would never use kunai or shurukin, but Kakashi forced me into learning how to use them. I hate using them, but I don't want risk a possible accident with Blood Crush. It's happened before. I might have accidentally killed someone who had been tracking me. 

But, whatever. I mean, talk about suspicious.

The kunai's only hit and grazed him in unimportant places, but at that point, Kakashi had come back to "save us"

"Great job Sasuke, Sakura, Chise, and.....Naruto, didn't know you would freeze up like that."

I looked to make sure everyone was okay and noticed Naruto had an injury.

"Naru-kun, I can already tell that cut has poison in-," I told him, but was cut off as Naru-kun suddenly stabbed his hand and held it up, going of as usual.....

"Naruto, that was a nice speech and all, but now your probably going to die from blood loss," said Kaka-kun, ruining the moment.

I chuckled. "Naru-kun, come over here, I'll heal you," I exclaimed as he freaked out a little bit.

He hurried over and i examined his wound, but found that it was somehow closing up already, with no healing needed. 

'What the.......M.N. what's up with this kid?'

'Oh, I should have told you sooner! The boy you are with now is the host to the nine-tailed fox, a demon that is well known to be a very destructive and powerful. I use to know him at one point....'

'Oh, got it. That's probably why all the villagers are so mean to him.......He's like me....'

We all continued our journey but I called Kaka-san back to talk with me, privately for a second.

"Okay, tell me now kaka-san. Naruto has the nine-tailed fox in him, right?"

He looked back at me, surprised, but nodded his head.

"So, tell me. Is he aware of this?"

Kaka-san looked over to Naru-kun. "You know, Chise. I don't really know. But even if he did, he's too much of a dunce to hide it very well. It'd be hard to tell that he knew."

We both sweat dropped as we watched Naru-kun start another argument with Sasuke.

"You're right......"

~Time Skip~

I was really tired. I normally get at least 18 hours of sleep, but I'm now running on about 10 hours of sleep.

"Kaka-san!!!!!" I yelled, getting grumpy because I haven't had enough sleep.

He looked back at me.

"I'm going to sleep. I probably won't be up for about 2-4 hours. DO NOT WAKE ME UP UNLESS ITS AN EMERGENCY. Comprendo?"

They all nodded, getting slightly nervous at my voice and the dark aura I had emitted.

So, I went to sleep.
