The Lazy Ninja (A Naruto Fanfic)

Chapter 12

I had been set down by a tree, hidden from view. Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke surrounded Tazuna from the front.

'Well, crap.'

I got up and looked at the situation to analyze what I should do.

I found that the best option was to hide and see if I can initiate a surprise somehow.

Kakashi suddenly got caught in a water-sphere and I knew I had to help him. No one hurt my da-guardian accept me.

Stepping out of my hiding place, I walked towards the guy in bandages.

"Excuse me, sir. What you are doing does not look very nice. Don't you think we should all try to get along?" I said, going between him and my team.

"CHISE! Get out of the way! He'll kill you for sure, believe it!" Naruto called out.

I scowled at him. "Naru, just because I look weak doesn't mean you can just assume I can't fight him. Battling him would be easy-peasy," I said looking back to the strange man.

The bandaged man looked confused. "Where did you come from, brat? And what makes you think you can beat me?"

Closing my eyes, I smiled warmly. "Sir, you have a lot of weaknesses, don't you know? For example......your bandages can cause a lot of problems, dontcha think?"

The man looked at me in surprise and noticed that I had grabbed onto the end of his bandages in the time it took him to blink.

I smirked and pulled hard, which left him spinning as the bandages unraveled. I laughed at the scene.

I then got ready to send him flying with one of my wind blasts. All the sudden, though, a needle came flying and hit the guy in his neck.

"Ow...." I cringed. I hate needles.

He crumpled to the floor. Then a guy with a mask came and took him. I kind of zoned out as the mask guy explained himself, but I got the idea. It was his job.

Whatever, I knew he was lyin'. He's pretty bad at lying, this kid.

Anyways, back to Kakashi.

He seems okay, but I knew he was about to drop any second.

So, I picked him up and flung him on my back.

"Chise?! What are you doing?" Kakashi exclaimed.

I looked at him pointedly.

"Ok~ We both know that you were about lose consciousness, so can you make it easier by just going to sleep now?"

But, I think Kaka-baka passed out halfway through my sentence.

I  rolled my eyes.

"Kakashi-sensei!!!" I heard two of my team mates yell in concern.

"Don't worry guys. He just expended too much chakra. Plus he has a minor injury on his leg, " I told them.

Both the pink head and Naru exhaled in relief.

The emo just 'hn'ed.

"I'm sorry I got you guys into this mess....Come to my house, it shouldn't be too far away from here."

I nodded and he lead us to his house where his daughter rushed out to help us.

I left Kaka-baka with the lady and told my team mates that I would catch up, just got to go get something.

I walked towards the center of the village where everyone was walking around.

A little girl ran into me, bread in her hand. She mumbled a quick apology before running away.
