The Lazy Ninja (A Naruto Fanfic)

Chapter 7

 "IIIISSSSEEE.....CCCHIIIISSSEEEEE!!!!!!! Wake up..."

I opened my eyes VERY slowly as I heard someone yell my name. 

Most be mother nature telling me to wake up......

Then, I noticed I was hanging upside down off the bed.

"Well, I guess old habits don't die easily. I've been sleeping on trees for too long....." I said to no one in particular. 

I laughed to myself.

"Chise, hurry up, we're going to be late for the academy!!!!"

"Ok, ok. I'm coming,".

I quickly got up from my strange position and ran to the bathroom. I didn't have time to dress so I just brushed my teeth and went to the bathroom, before running out the door towards Naru-kun. He was waiting by the door, so we sped out of the apartment building.

Eventually we got to the academy, so we went to our classroom. 

"Oi, Chise, today I'm gonna become a full on leaf ninja, believe it!!!!"

I looked at him and smiled a smile. "

"You do you, Naru-kun. I didn't even know that we were taking the ninja graduation test thingy, but I'll try to graduate with you.....Zzzz"

"CHISE! Wake-up, you can't just fall asleep right as we're walking in the classroom!" Naruto sweat dropped at me.

"Fine, fine. Let's just hurry up, cause I have a desk waiting for me to sleep on, and it's not nice to keep it waiting.

-Time Skip to exam-

"So, Chise, I know this is only your second day, So I don't expect you to pass this time. If you want to wait until next year and learn everything it's ok to do so," Iruka-sensei smiled at me.

I smiled lazily back, "That's ok. I learned this technique a while ago. Make just 3 clones? I cna do that...''

I did the hand signs and made 3 clones. But before Iruka could praise me I cut him off. 

"So, yeah. I only made 3 clones because I didn't want to expend anymore Chakra, but if you want me to make more, I could create probably 10 more...."

Iruka looked at me shocked. The guy next to him did to. I didn't really like the other  guy, so I didn't really focus when he introduced himself.....

"O-ok... Well, here's your headband..."

I bowed to thank him and made my way out.

I saw Naruto on  my way out and made my way towards him. As I did, I heard many mean and sort of curious comments aimed towards Naruto. I shook my head, walking towards a now depressed Naru-Kun.

"Naru, are you ok..? You need some ramen?"

He shook his head. "I failed the exam again.....I'm pretty stupid, ain't I...."

"Naruto.....you're not stupid, you may be a little over enthusiastic at times, but your a good guy. Don't let anything take your happiness away."

He nodded, but I could tell he wanted to be alone at this point, so I left to somehow find my guardian.

I walked towards the crowded streets, but a hand grabbed my arm.

"There you are, Chise Sakamoto. I was actually beginning to worry...." A familiar voice said to me.

I smiled my signature lazy smile. "Ah, Kaka-san. How are you?"

He got an irk mark. "Are you seriously asking me that after never coming home last night?!"
