Chapter 10:"-knight in shining armour-"

Jill's P.O.V:

Classes with Mrs.Walcott were intense, she's insanely talented and she's very harsh on her students but I'm used to it from training with mother all these years.
"So how was your first class?" Joey asks from behind me.

"Hey I was looking for you." I smile at my best mate. "Classes were great you're mother is amazing."

"Yeah she is." He smiles. "Remember how you told me you were looking for a job?" He asks and I nod. "Well my mom wants to speak to you."

"Joey what have you done?" I eye him.

"I may have mentioned it to my mom." He shrugs.

"You are like thee bestest best mate ever." I hug him. Joey does way too much for me.

"It's nothing really just go in and have a chat with her yeah?" He pushes me into is mother's office.

"I'll be waiting here."

"Jill." Mrs.Walcott greets me.

"You wanted to see me mam?"

"Yes Joseph mention that you were looking for a job?"

"Yes mam."

"Well I do have an over filled junior class. The instructor has got her hands full and I was thinking maybe you could help out with that."

"I don't think I'm qualified mam." I gasp.

"They're just toddlers and you are more than qualified I watched you in class today."

"This is amazing, I don't know what to say."

"You'll start next week. You'll be taking over all Miss Peazer's juniors."

"Thank you so much mam." I smile walking out of her office. "Oh my gosh Joey!" I squeal as soon as I get out of the office.

"Calm down poppet. Do you want to go meet Dani?" Joey laughs.

"Dani?"

"Danielle Peazer, you'll be taking her class."

"Yeah sure." Smile skipping down the hall with Joey feeling like doing cartwheels.

School hasn't been the same this past few days. Ellie and Char were normal if anything we seem to be getting closer but Dave has been acting really strange. So I think it would be more fitting to say that, Dave hasn't been the same this past few days. He isn't his usual charming self, everything is super awkward. Things got even more awkward after Waliyha started talking about Peter in chem the other day, thankfully she left out the details of whatever he had told her but I'm sure Dave guessed everything because he dismissed himself while we were chatting. I obviously have to have a chat with Dave but I haven't really got to it yet, something always came up. He hasn't been to school today and he didn't even text me why or anything. I really missed him seen as though I spend half the day with him but I'm a wee bit glad that I got break from the awkwardness today.

"You okay there love?" Joey asks breaking me from my thoughts about Dave.

"Yeah I'm alright." I smile at me best mate.

"You should really come in with us Joe." Danielle tells Joey.

"Nah I have to get back, help Elena with homework." Joey says.

"Awwwwh that is precious!" Danielle says and Joey turns red, I laugh.

"I feel a bit strange going in there without you." I tell him.
