Time has dragged by this week. All I could think about was him. Harry. I spent the first half of the week blowing up his phone with voicemails and texts. I've never known what it felt like to be ignored. Nobody ever ignored me, then again nobody ever did a lot of things Harry did to me. Luckily I have Eleanor. Who helped me direct my focus on to something else. Someone else. Dave. She's convinced me that kissing Dave would help me figure out my feelings for Harry. Kissing him would help tell me whether Harry and I had a connection or whether it just felt that way because it was the first time I'd kissed another Phoenix. I've been preparing for this all week and I still don't think it's a good idea.
My phone starts ringing the custom ringtone lets me know who it is. Puffing air out of my cheeks I answer the phone.
"Liam."
"Hey."
"Eight pm sharp as always."
"I'm nothing if not punctual." He chuckles warmly. I needed something to take my mind off Harry. So I agreed to go out with Henry from me maths class as long as he took me to a place out of town. I knew that if I'd gotten drunk anywhere close to home I'd have been in trouble. After we had dinner he took me to tiny unpopular bar a little out of town on Wednesday night. I ran into Liam at the bar and he almost knocked out Henry's teeth for getting me drunk. Luckily I (in my drunken state.) had managed to convince Liam that it was my idea, it was a one time thing but Liam doesn't wanna let it go. He's has been calling me twice a day, everyday since he found me there pissed out of my mind.
"It's Sunday night Liam, who drinks on Sunday?" I roll my eyes even though he can't see me. "Besides I have school tomorrow."
"That didn't stop you before." He points out.
"I told you it was a one time thing, I promise."
"I'm just worried about you okay, it's strange how you get drunk as quick as a human. You should have a much higher tolerance-"
"Liam."
"Just take care of yourself okay."
"Okay Liam." I smile even though he can't see me.
"And I thought I should let you know, Harry's back in town." Liam informs me and my throat goes dry. "He got back a few hours ago." Liam adds when I don't reply.
"Oh."
"Yeah, I just thought you should know." He says as another call comes through.
"Ellie's trying to call, I'll text you later?"
"Sure love, bye." He ends the call.
"Hey." I answer Ellie.
"Jill, so Louis and I were out getting ice cream and I ran into Dave-"
