Her P.O.V
I nervously waited at the spot we had arranged, I didn't know why he had asked me to meet up with him, we hardly even talked to each other in school, so why so sudden? I had known him since I was a 14, but we had grew apart when we reached High School, I guess he didn't want anyone to think that we were dating. We were complete opposites, him tall, caramel skin with dark mousy brown hair, me average height, tanned skin, and black hair that natural brown streaks from being in the sun too long. He was more into sports but still had exceptionally high grades, me, top of every class and into my aquatic sports. I have always been a water baby, I grew up by the sea, and every weekend we would go out to the island in the bay, the water so clear you could see the bottom. But then we had to move to the city because my mum had been offered a big job, so we moved to the city leaving behind the tropical island and swapping it for the cold city. Then I meet him, and my world turned around, everything seemed to get brighter but then over the years it seemed to get darker. So the question lingered in my head, why?
His P.O.V
I had hoped that she would understand, I had known her for so long, if she didn't understand who would? I had worked it all out, tell her and then she would tell me what she thought and then I would figure out it from then... I had been trying to hide it for so long, when I meet her I knew she would be the person I tell my deepest darkest secret. All I had been doing these days was training, running on the supposed beach in the morning, working out at the gym in the evening, and playing on the field with the boys in the day time. Me and her hadn't talked in forever, it sought of seemed like she was avoiding me, I don't know why or what she was going to think of this abrupt meeting. When we were little we always played houses together but then people started teasing us and then she disappeared into books and aquatic sports. Me? I was more of a turf guy, ball and racket was what was most preferable. I left the house for the spot we arranged, a bakery where we had first gone out as friends to talk about problems, Café de Ole. When I arrived she already had a spiced pumpkin chai mocha in her hand, her favourite.
"So, what did you want to talk about?" she asks.
"I'm..."
