Brooke- 1 week later
It's been a week since the incident and there's no sign of Joe. I know he's locked up but I jut can't seem to think that if he ran away once, he can run away twice. Who knows? Maybe he hired some guys to kill me or something.
"Brooke!" I snap out of my thoughts at Harvey's voice. I have a History assessment tomorrow and Harvey is currently helping me revise. Trying to anyway because I'm not paying any attention at all.
"Sorry." He shuts the history book and gives me his 'what's going on' look. "I'm just distracted, nothing's happened. Plus, I'm fine with History and I think we're done with studying today."
"Okay, that's fine. We're meant to go meet everyone in 10 anyway." We put all of the history books back into Harvey's room and get into his car.

Everyone is at the diner. It genuinely looks like a reunion or something.
"Oh, finally! Okay, Ryan, spit it out!" Is what I hear from Jason as soon as Harvey and I approach the table.
"What?" I ask and Ryan tells everyone to shut up.
"Okay so my parents are out of town next week and since we're going to be off school, my dad rented me a house. He said I can bring whoever I want and we've got it for a week." The whole table cheers and celebrates.
"When do we leave?" I ask him.
"Saturday."
