Today was officially my first day of college. My first class was math. I had been trying to contact Beck, because I needed someone to watch Zeus. I couldn't bring him to class, because I didn't know if he'd start crying or something.
"Hello?" Beck had finally answered his phone.
"Um, do you have a class this morning? I really need you to watch Zeus." I cried out in desperation.
"I have a class this morning. Give him to Oliver, she's free." I removed the phone from my ear and looked at it, as if he was crazy. Why would he suggest something so stupid?
"I'll find a way, never mind. Don't forget you have to pick him up tonight, it's your day with him."
"Alright, I'll be over after my classes are over. Have a good day, Milan." I smiled at the simple sentence that spurred out of his mouth.
"Thank you, have a good day too." We both hung up and I looked at Zeus in my arms. He looked like an angel, just sleeping his cares away. I placed a kiss on his cheek and gently placed him in his stroller.
I thought it'd be cute if we matched today, so I had dressed us both in blue. I wore a light blue short sleeved dress and placed a white cardigan over it. I chose to wear these beige sandals that I haven't worn in a while. For his outfit I had put on a dark blue onesie that said, Mommy's Hero. I had put on a white cap on his head, white socks on his feet and a pair of white long sleeved pants.
"Hey, ready to go?" Tisha asked, stepping out of the room with Zeus' changing bag.
"Yeah, thanks for getting the bag for me." I said, grabbing it and putting it on my shoulder. I strapped Zeus in his stroller and put the changing bag at the bottom. I had prepacked the bag with all his essentials.
Three warm bottles, a blanket, six diapers, his pacifier and gloves.
Tisha and I grabbed our schedules and headed into the hallway. As soon as I locked the door Oliver and Heather came out of the room, across from us.
"Hey roomies." Oliver said in a wicked and mischievous tone.
"Awe, is this baby Zeus?" Heather squealed, pushing her face into the stroller. I pulled the stroller back and she frowned.
"Sorry, you could have germs and I don't want him to get sick. But, yeah this is Zeus." I explained myself.
"Oh my gosh, he's so cute." Zeus blinked and stared at her, completely unaware that these two betrayed me in the worst way.
I noticed Oliver was still in pajamas and Heather was dressed up. "So, what class do you guys have?"
"Math." Tisha and I chorused. Heather's face lit up and once again she started squealing. Apparently, she had the same class with us. We headed to class, scanning the halls for the classes.
Eventually, we arrived to class and it was already packed. I felt weird, pushing a stroller into the room. I didn't want anyone to judge me already, based off of a decision I made in high school. But, I don't regret my decision at all, because I love Zeus with everything in me.
"Oh, it's you." I heard a voice groan as I turned around. I rolled my eyes, meeting the face of Professor Moss. He held sly grin on his face as he looked at Zeus. "Cute baby."
