"Wow, I'm surprised I didn't wake up to the crying noises of Zeus." Tisha came out of her room, yawning. I frowned at the absence of my bundle of joy. I wanted to bathe him and watch him giggle at everything I said.
"You know you want to see him." I teased and she laughed. I placed bacon and grits on her plate. She poured butter on her grits and began to eat the breakfast I made her.
"Girl, I'm gonna love living with you. When we're done with college, I'll come to your house every day for breakfast." I laughed and sat down in front of her.
"Not if my husband doesn't want you there." She fake gasped.
"You'd jeopardize our relationship, just so your husband can be happy?" I chuckled and shook my head. "No one can ever take your place, babe."
"As long as you know." We ate and talked for a bit. That was until it was time for us to go to class. I couldn't wait until it was time for Math. I liked his class, not because of his face, it was because I loved math, even in high school.
When we arrived for class Professor Moss was standing by the door, waiting for us to get in.
"What? No baby today?" Professor Moss grinned as I walked in.
"Yeah, he's with his dad." I said, walking into the classroom and heading to my seat. Heather and Tisha were already in their seats, waiting for me.
"Okay, class. Let's get ready for class. Can we call on Ms.Foster to pray." I stood up, ready to lead the prayer.
"Please stand." Slowly, everyone got up. "Close your eyes and bow your heads." I cleared my throat. "Dear Lord, thank you for allowing us to see another beautiful day which we were not promised. I thank you for everything you have given us and I pray we learn everything we're supposed to learn in class today. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen."
"Amen." Everyone chorused.
"Thank you, Milan. Everyone please sit." He got out a marker and started writing on the board. He began writing notes and then stopped.
"Whenever I stop, you write. When I write, you don't. I will erase the board and you can't get notes from anyone else during class." For the next hour we wrote notes and he stopped to teach us stuff.
After class I rushed out of the class and we went to our dorm. Tisha took a nap and I got bored, so I changed into some comfortable clothing. I wanted to go get something to eat. I would've played with Zeus, but he was with Beck.
I slid on my slippers and headed to the cafeteria. I was surprised to see Heather in there, sitting down with some girl. I was going to go over and hail her, but I didn't want to interrupt.
When I turned around she started to wave at me and tell me to come over. I made my way to their table and slid in a seat beside Heather.
"Denise, this is my high school friend Milan and Milan, this is Denise. She's in my psychology class and my roommate."
"I thought Oliver was your roommate?"
"It's three of us in there." I nodded.
"Hi, there." I waved at Denise, looking her way. She smiled at me with her pearly whites. "Hey, I heard you have a kid for my sister's boyfriend."
