Roy DeSoto went back to cleaning the oven hoping John would just forget the whole idea. He didnt. "Oh come on" his partner continued "How hard could taking a couple of kids trick-or-treating be?" "Six. Six kids, remember? On a sleepover. No just- what on earth is in this oven-"
Roy pulled his head back out to inspect his rag. Mysterious spots of red and green stains now covered the rag. John made a face "- Just forget I mentioned it" the red haired paramedic said absently as he walked away to get a clean rag.
John watched his partner with disapointment. Roy was taking Genevieve's little neighbors Peter and Emily plus Six other kids trick-or-treating this year. The kids, without their parents knowledge, had invited their friends.
Genevieve, Roy's paramedic partner and girlfriend since he and Joanne divorced, was supposed to take the kids only she'd gotten sick. So now Roy was stuck with them. Johnny had offered to help but Roy turned him down.
Well I'm not letting him get away with that! Roy needs my help whether he wants to admit it or not. So I'm gonna help.
