EMERGENCY! Halloween

      Roy almost tripped over his small companion as they made it to a clearing that seemed to be a back yard. He and Peter had heard the voices of the kids from this direction and figured that if they ran they could catch up but the plants had been a bit thicker than they thought. So they had to fight through an endless jungle of tall weeds.
      Roy was going to call out to his partner once he caught his breath but everyone started screaming. He turned to look behind them. Seeing nothing Roy thought he would just walk up the rest of the way and ask questions later. "Wonder what they're screaming at Mr. Desoto?" "Hmm i dont know? Come on peter"
      Roy became more worried as he caught Johnny's horrified look. Is something behind us Roy asked himself once again glancing behind him. Hmm that's weird. Without warning the group stared running.
      "Hey!" Roy called still breathless. Robert was the only one who froze. He squint through the darkness. "Mr. Desoto? Peter!" Johnny stared at Robert like he was crazy. There's no way that that creature is-
      "Johnny! Kids! Where are you going?" Roy? The pair walked up the hill and into the street light. Indeed it was Roy with Peter! "Roy! But I thought- well I mean you were- you- you..." "I found Peter. We heard you guys and were trying to catch up"
       "We thought you were the Vine Monster!" James blurted. John glared at the boy before looking back up at Roy in embarrassment. "Wait so you..." Roy stared laughing hysterically and pointed at his buddy. "You thought we were a monster! You- you believed that!" His shoulders shook in laughter and he fell backwards.
       Johnny's nose scrunched. "It wasn't that funny Roy!"
