midnight kisses part 1

I was going to celebrate New Years with Elvis and his family, my mother really wasn't into celebrating The New Year she preferred to stay at home.

Elvis POV.

god I was so excited for New Years. I was getting to spend it with my family and the only girl I could ever love.

I rang Abbagail to ask if she still was up to celebrate New Years with us.

"hey baby, I was just wondering if you still wanted to celebrate New Years with me"

"of course baby were else would I rather be"

"well I'll pick you up at 6 how's that sound"

"ok baby well I better go get ready for tonight, see you soon baby"

I hung up the phone tonight was really gonna be great. I had a suprise for abbagail, she won't see it coming.

narrators POV

abbagail spent the next 2 hours getting ready, doing her makeup and hair making sure she looked just right for Elvis she didn't want to disappoint him.

abbagail's mother was glad that her daughter had adapted to life in Memphis, she was glad to see her happy.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"I'll get it mum"

abbagail raced down the stairs to answer the door.

"hi Elvis"

"hey baby, you ready to get going"

"yeah I'll just say bye to mamma"

"ok doll"

abbagail walked into the kitchen to say goodbye to her mother.

"see you later mum I'll be home late so you don't have to wait up ok" she kissed her mum on the cheek

"have fun darling be safe, I'll se you when you get home ok"

and with that Elvis and abbagail where of.

just before Elvis had arrived at his home he pulled up at a lovely park.

"baby what are we doing her"

"just come with me, I gotta show you something"

Elvis opened abbagails door and held her hand as they walked down the path underneth all the oak trees.

Elvis sat down on a park bench with abbagail still holding her hand.

"abbagail I have loved you ever since I laid my eyes on you and I don't know how I can go on without you in my life"

with this Elvis left abbagails grip of her hand and slid of the park bench and got down on one knee

"and I was just wondering would you do me the honour of being my wife, will you marry me?"

abbagail had tears streaming down her face Elvis wiped them away with his thumbs.

"oh Elvis yes i will, I'd love to be your wife"

"know baby I don't have a proper ring yet but I have this one that I have had for many years I know it ain't the prettiest but when I have enough money I will buy you the biggest and most prettiest ring you've ever seen"

"oh Elvis I'm just happy were gonna be together for ever, I love you so much baby"

Elvis slid the ring onto abbagails hand and he kissed her lips so tenderly, they headed back to the car.

Elvis started the cars ignition and continued the drive to his family's home. abbagail couldn't wipe the smile from her face and neither could Elvis. they couldn't wait to start there lives together as one.

when they arrived at the presley home they walked in the door and the party had started there were family members every where.

"hey hey everyone,I've got some news"

Elvis stood on top of a chair.

"me and abbagail are engaged, were gonna get married"

everyone was so excited but nobody was more excited than Gladys she was over the moon about the engagement.

"congratulations darling, I'm so proud of you both, your officially a presley"

Elvis and abbagail didn't leave each others sides the whole night they ate together, danced and Elvis introduced his fiance to his family.

when midnight finally was approaching the count down began, Elvis took abbagail outside amongst the stars.

" I love you so much"

"I love you to Elvis"

they counted down together

"10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2, and 1"

Elvis slowly kissed abbagail the kiss was filled with so much passion they truly did love each other.

they sat outside for hours until Elvis realised that abbagails mother was probably worried.

"baby I think its time I took you home"

"but I don't want to leave you, I wanna be here with you"

"I know you do baby but your mamma will be worried"

and with that Elvis and abbagail said to goodbye to the presley family members and they walked hand in hand towards the car.

before Elvis started the engine he leaned over and kissed abbagail passionately she felt fireworks.

they car ride home was filled with conversations about the wedding and how happy they both were and how much they both loved each other.

when they arrived at abbagails her mother was still up Elvis walked her to the door and they kissed for a few minutes and then they said there goodbyes

"goodbye my love I shall call you in the morning" Elvis planted another kiss on her lips

"goodnight my love I shall see you in my dreams" abbagail kissed Elvis on the lips for the last time as they parted and went there separate ways.

A/N sorry about the long hiatus but I've been so busy I shall post a few more chapters when I get back from my break as I will have time to write a few chapters
