Christmas part 2

There was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it mum I shouted" as my mother was still getting ready.

I walked over to the door and who was standing Elvis and his dad I opened the door and gestured that they should come in.

"Good morning darling, merry Christmas" Elvis wrapped his arms around me he was so warm

"Good morning and merry Christmas to you, good morning Vernon and merry Christmas to you" Elvis let go of me so that the three of us could all speak

"Good morning Abbagail and thank you, how you been" he hugged me

I gripped Elvis hand and squeezed it tight.

"My mum will be down soon she just getting ready" just as I finished my sentence my mum had made her way down the stairs and she greeted Elvis and Vernon.

"Shall we get going" Vernon stated as he headed towards the door

"Let's go I can't wait to eat some amazing food and be with the ones I love most of all" Elvis wrapped his arm around my waist and lead me out the car.

Elvis grabbed the handle of the back door to the car "my lady" and he bowed down.

"Why thank you" I entered the car and slid over to the middle making sure there was room for Elvis.

Vernon and my mother got into the front of the car and Elvis slid in next to me and he held me tight the whole car ride. My mother and Vernon were talking about my mothers new job as a cleaner, while Elvis and I sat and talked about random stuff it felt real swell to be so close to him and how lucky I was to be his.

When we arrived at the Presley's, we walked through the and the house was small but it was big enough for Elvis and his parents. The whole house smelt amazing my mother went into the kitchen and introduce herself to Gladys and helped her finish of the cooking. Elvis took me to his room where we sat and listened to records, we talked about music until Gladys called us to the kitchen.

"Oh wow this looks amazing,thank you for preparing this all" I commented as I sat down next to Elvis

"Oh darlin' it was no trouble I just hope you all enjoy it, Vern you wanna say a pray before we all eat" we all linked hands

Vernon finished saying the prayer and we all released each other's hands and began to eat. The food was amazing.

My mother and Gladys were talking about there jobs and they were sharing recipes, Elvis, Vernon and myself were talking about how we both graduated in a matter of months and what we both planned on doing.

"We'll I don't really know I'm either gonna settle down or try and get a job to support myself, what about you Elvis"

"I'm gonna start working for the crown electric company and become the best know electrician round"

I nudged Elvis under the table knowing that he was lying that's not what he wanted to be and he knew it he wanted to be a famous singer and travel the world.

After lunch had finished Gladys my mother and i cleared the table and did the dishes while Elvis and Vernon sat in the lounge room listening to the radio station. When we had finished cleaning we all went and sat in the lounge room where we could give and receive our gifts that we had purchased for each other.

Everybody started passing out there gifts and we all began to unwrap them, for Elvis, Gladys and Vernon I got them all very different gifts.

For Vernon I had purchased a yearly subscription to his favourite magazine Elvis helped me pick pick out the right one. He really did love his gift.

For Gladys I had purchased a necklace with a love heart charm that opened up and you could put two pictures in there so with Elvis help I picked a picture of Elvis and Vernon and put them in there so they'd never ever be apart.

Gladys really loved the gift she kept on thanking me all afternoon.

And for Elvis it was really hard to pick out something for him but after weeks of searching I found the perfect thing for him. I knew he like it I had gone down to Lansky brothers and purchased a whole new outfit for him.

"Gee baby I really love it, this is amazing whenever I wear this I'll be thinking of you" he came and sat next to me and held me close as I unwrapped my gifts.

From Gladys and Vernon I received a ring that had 3 bands and they all resembled someone in my life, the top band was my mother, the middle was Elvis and the bottom resembled both Gladys and Vernon.

"Oh wow this is amazing and so pretty I really really love it thank you so much" I hugged both of them.

Next was Elvis present it was wrapped so beautifully I really didn't want to ruin it, as I unwrapped the gift it was the most beautiful dress I had ever seen and he had also purchased some earrings to match.

"Oh Elvis I don't know what to say its so pretty thank you so much I can't wait to wear it" I hugged and kissed his cheek

"We'll baby why don't you try it on" he released me from his embrace and I took the dress and headed to his room to try on the dress.

It fit perfectly and I looked smokin with it on, I walked out of the room and towards the lounge room when I walked everybody's conversations stopped and there eyes turned towards me.

Elvis stood up and walked over to me and whispered in my ear.

"Wow baby you look smokin just like I pictured you when I saw it" he wrapped his arms around me

"Elvis be queue our parents will hear" I wrapped my arms around him.

"Let them hear I wanna show you of" he grabbed my hand and we sat down on the couch while everyone commented on my dress and how stunning I looked.

The rest of the afternoon our parents spent talking in the lounge room while Elvis and I sat in his room on his bed curled up just staring at each other and casually kissing. I think he kind of wanted to go further but I wouldn't let him.

"Elvis I love you so much" as he continued kissing up and down my neck I really enjoyed but he wasn't gonna find out.

"I love you so much that after we graduate I'm gonna make you mine officially forever" he wrapped his arms around and smashed his lips in to mine

"Really Elvis" he stopped kissing and looked deep in to my eyes

"Yeah baby I am we can grow old together have kids and live the most beautifulest house ever, I'm gonna give you everything you deserve" then we lied down and he wrapped hi arms around my waist and we slowly feel asleep gee it felt great.

This Christmas was the best Christmas I've had since my father had passed and I hoped it was for my mother too.

A/N sorry for such the long wait on part two I have had some family issues and homework is just piling up but the next few chapters should be up Thursday night and Friday morning hopefully fingers crossed
