Sorry that this chapter is slightly boring; it may seem like this story isn't going anywhere but I just wanted to waste a few chapters before getting into anything serious.

Austin’s Pov:

I opened my eyes feeling refreshed and content for the first time in far too long. I stretched my arms over my head as I rolled over. The smile faded from my face when, instead of seeing a sleeping Bella next to me, I was met with an empty bed. I laid my head down onto my pillow and pulled the covers up to my chin, a frown inhabiting my mouth.

I rubbed my knuckles into my eyes to drive away the sleep before getting out of bed and approaching my direction to the kitchen. I stopped in my path when the aroma of coffee percolating and bacon frying caught my attention. I walked into the kitchen to see Bella flipping over some eggs in one pan and bacon sizzling in the other. I smiled and slowly approached her, extending my arms around her waist and placing a small kiss on top of her head. “What’s this?” I questioned, my voice sounding rather croaky.

“Breakfast,” She simply said, a small smile creeping onto her face.

“Smells amazing,” I released my arms off of her body and made my way to the cupboard to pull out plates. I placed them near Bella so she could pack them up with the hot food she was making. We both made our way to the table and sat across from each other. Bella was about to dig into her food, but I interrupted. “Wait!” She stopped and flashed me a confused look. I pulled my phone out of my back pocket and held it so I could get a full picture of Bella and the food. “Smile,” She sat there in her seat, still holding the cutlery in her hands while poking her tongue out and crossing her eyes. I chuckled and typed up my caption. “@austincarlile: @belladevelle_ might just be a better cook than me.” I looked up to see Bella rolling her eyes at her phone.

After the picture taking, I dug right into my food. “Uh,” I closed my eyes, taking a moment to appreciate the taste of the delicious food she had made. “This taste amazing,” I opened my eyes to a blushing face. “You’re a whole new Bella, aren’t you?” I chuckled.

Her eyebrows started to furrow. “What do you mean?”

“The old Bella sucked at cooking,” I smirked at her. She gently slapped my arm with the back of her hand as she responded.

“I wasn’t that bad!” She slightly pouted.

I raised my eyebrow, an expression of doubt. “You burnt toast every time you made it; I think that’s saying something…” I laughed and she rolled her eyes, both of us letting out a chuckle.

Bella’s Pov:

"Would you like to sleep over again? We can drive to the dinner together tomorrow night?” Austin asked nervously. “We can order take away and watch another awesome movie.” He smile shifted into something a bit more cheesier.

I smiled and nodded my head. “I would love to watch you wimp like a little baby while I comfort you.” I leaned over and squeezed his cheeks, causing him to flick my hand away and pout. I chuckled and picked up as many plates as I could in my hands, Austin picking up the remaining ones that I couldn't manage.

While we both washed up, Austin broke the silence. “Oh, I forgot to mention, I have studio today.” I didn’t reply, just waited patiently for him to continue. “Do you have work today or something?”
