Austin’s Pov:

I woke up with the biggest grin on my face as I thought back to last night. I stretched my arms up over my head and blinked the sleep away from my eyes. I looked over to see Bella who was still sound asleep and smiled as I pulled myself carefully out of the bed and slipped on my shirt that took me minutes to find.

I started a pot of coffee and began to find something to make for breakfast. I opened the fridge to see that she had eggs and bacon. I hope she doesn’t mind me using it all up; I just want to make her breakfast before she got the chance to wake up.

I finished setting all the materials that were needed for a beautiful morning breakfast, so I left the kitchen and made my way to the stairs until I suddenly halted, staring at body that was leaning against the wall with a huge grin smeared across her face. “Good morning.” I said in a soft, gentle tone. I smiled as she smiled back.

“Good morning, what are you doing?” She said while slowly trotting down the stairs.

“Breakfast!” I said excitedly. She laughed and placed a soft kiss onto my cheek before sitting down into the chair next to the food.

“This looks amazing, let’s see if it tastes as good as it looks.” She winked at me, causing me to let out a quiet laugh.

 Bella’s Pov:

“Not such a bad cook, Carlile.” I laughed.

"Glad you’re enjoying it.” He smiled, trying to keep the food inside his mouth rather than outside.

A few minutes of talking and eating, we were interrupted by Ashley’s burst from the front door. She stumbled in, looking around until she noticed me and Austin sitting at the dinner table. She took a whiff of the air before her eyes grew wide. “Shit that smells good,” She walked towards us, picking up her pace each second as she got closer, a smile growing when she saw the breakfast. “Oh my God, is that bacon?” She grabbed the little bits of bacon that was left on my plate.

“No worries,” I said sarcastically. She chewed away while turning around, leaning against the table with her back facing towards us as she stared at the TV in the distance. Austin looked at me and pushed his plate forward with a questioning expression, offering me the rest of his breakfast. I shook my head with a smile and rubbed my stomach. “I’m full,” I lipped my words in silence. I leaned back into my chair and waited for Austin to finish his breakfast while I listen to Ashley’s story of last night.

“Anyways, so I was leaving work until Alan appeared and I was like why are you here? And he’s like I came to pick you up. And so I didn’t bother arguing and went along with it and we went back to his house, got completely hammered and yeah, you know where it leads to.” She said turning around with a smirk surfacing across her face.

“You and Alan are really hitting it, aren’t you?” Austin said while I grabbed his plates and took them to the kitchen. “Let me help you,” He said before Ashley could respond. I stopped him before he could take another step.

“You cook, I clean.” I smiled at him before he sat back down onto his chair. “Carry on, Ash,” I said as I packed the dishwasher with the dishes.

“I don’t know, you know.” She said while munching on her bacon. Austin gave her a sarcastic nod, acting as if he understood what she said, causing me to laugh. “I like him but I don’t know.” She turned her body dramatically and faced me. “You know what happened to Matt. What if it happens again?” She pouted with bits of bacon hanging out of her mouth.
