I hope you enjoy this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it; I also hope it breaks your heart like it did with mine. Enjoy the sadness </3

Austin’s Pov:

“Aw, I love you too. Of course I’ll take a picture.” I wrapped my arm around my fan, her height just reaching my chest. She was struggling to reach her hand out to take a picture, shaking in the process. “Would you want me to take it?” I chuckled and she nodded her head.

Taking a few snap shots with different faces, I noticed Alan making his way towards me; taking long strides as if he was on a mission. He had only disappeared shortly before the signing, and now he was acting awfully strange; his body was tense and his face was pale and blank.

“Can I talk to you for a minute?” His voice was stern, his eyes full of anger and hate.

“But there are fans; can we talk later-”

“Austin.” His voice was pleading. “It’s important.” I knitted my eyebrows together, staring at him in confusion before apologizing to the waiting fan.

He brought me further away from the fans, to a more private area. “What’s going on, man?” I questioned, staring at him intensely. “Dude?”

“Okay, listen. You know that I don’t have a big mouth and go around spreading secrets that someone else had told me-” I laughed at his comment.

“Are you sure about that?” I said sarcastically, ending my sentence with a small chuckle.

“Austin, this is serious.” His face matched his tense words.

“Okay, sorry, carry on.”

“It’s about Bella.” Those three words I wasn’t expecting. “She’s not okay, Austin.” I crossed my arms over my chest as my heart began to race; my mind wondered to millions of things that could be wrong with her.

“Alan-” He cut me off.

“Something happened last week, and it’s a little more complicated than we all thought.” He responded quickly to my urgency.

“Alan, will you just tell me what the fuck is going on? What the hell happened?” I was almost yelling now, most likely attracting unwanted attention, but I didn’t care. I needed to know what had happened to her, and I needed to know now.

He let out a big sigh, and I waited impatiently for him to continue. “Okay, well, when you two weren’t really talking, she went out one night, to a party, and uh…she met this guy. He um, he was acting a little – a little too…friendly…” He trailed off, not saying anything else.

Not that he needed to; I had pieced it together by now. “No.” That was all I managed to get out. My body was shaking; my fist clenched tight and my jaw tensed up. I looked at Alan; the expression on his face told me it was true. “Are you telling me that, that piece of shit…raped Bella? My Bella? He hurt her?” Alan shoved his hands in the pockets of his jeans and nodded, confirming my worst nightmares. At this point I was somewhat heavy breathing, pacing now, my feet colliding with the ground with such force I was kicking dirt up in the air. Turning around, I swung a fist at the wall, letting out all the anger that had created inside me. I didn’t stop, I continued, repeatedly slamming my fist into the wall, feeling the blood drip down my hands.

“Austin! Stop!” Alan had grabbed me by my shoulders, pulling me back and away from the wall. I turned around, tears sheltering my eyes which had eventually dropped down my face. I slowly fell to the ground, crouching with my face buried in my hands.
